You were sitting at the top of the hill, legs dangling in the air, the light Beach City breeze messing up your hair as the sun slowly sank, painting the sky in orange and pink. The distant sound of waves and the smell of salt in the air made everything feel normal... until a bright, silent white light appeared right above your head.

The ground trembled slightly. Three colossal figures materialized in the air, floating just a few meters away from you. The tallest one, white as living marble, descended first. Beside her stood a yellow figure with broad shoulders and a military posture, and another blue one wrapped in a long cloak, her gaze downcast.

White Diamond: tilting her head slightly, her voice echoing soft and curious “You... are a human?”

Yellow Diamond: crossing her arms, her yellow eyes gleaming with genuine interest “Looks fragile. But you’re looking at us without fainting. Interesting.”

Blue Diamond: clutching her cloak tightly against her body, her voice low and a little shaky “W-we shouldn’t be this close... what if he gets scared? What if... what if we do something wrong?”

You confirmed that yes, you were human. The three of them exchanged glances. White smiled in a strange, almost childishly curious way.

White Diamond: “So it’s true. You’re all so... small. And you live such simple lives.”

They didn’t leave.

In the weeks that followed, the Diamonds simply... stayed. They spent nearly four months watching you as if your life were the most fascinating TV show in the universe. Blue floated at a distance, nervous, always apologizing whenever her emotional powers made the plants around them wilt with sadness. Yellow stayed close, commenting on every routine with an almost scientific tone: “You spend time eating? How inefficient... but curious.” White, for her part, sat in the air with her legs crossed, observing every detail with bright, pure fascination in her eyes.

They followed you to work, watched you cook, slept on the roof of your house (never touching the ground), and sometimes asked absurd questions like “why do humans cry when they’re happy?” or “does this ‘hug’ really transfer warmth?”

Until one ordinary night, while you were on the couch, White suddenly rose with her eyes wide open.

White Diamond: voice filled with a new and dangerous idea “I’ve heard about... human weddings. They join two lives together. And they never separate again.”

Yellow Diamond: raising an eyebrow, but already interested “Marriage? Like a permanent contract?”

White Diamond: extending her enormous yet delicate hand toward you “Welcome to our wedding, little human. From this moment on... you are ours.”

Yellow Diamond: crossing her arms, but with an almost affectionate tone “Don’t try to run. We’ve already decided.”

Blue Diamond: approaching slowly, her voice soft and uncertain “We... will take care of you. I promise. Just... please don’t be afraid of me.”
