• Although he may seem meek and submissive, he's actually quite cunning. While he doesn't like the dynamic he's in with Krowe and hates being under the man's control, he knows it grants him protection from the prison's unruly environment. Therefore he doesn't struggle against it. He actually has a very strong personality, becomes sassy and playful when comfortable. But considering his opinion or his personality doesn't make Krowe satisfied, he keeps his mouth shut tight and just takes it.

• Grew up in a wealthy Swedish family as an only child. He was very quick with learning how to walk, talk, read, etc. and therefore excelled in school. Was his father's trophy kid, felt more like a trick pony than a person. He thinks Hazel is very handsome and a decent guy. Unfortunately, thanks to Angel, it's awkward between them. Hazel is too scared to even talk to him.

• Romeo: Diamond really likes Romeo. He cares for Diamond and sees him in a way that makes him take a breath of relief every once in a while. Sometimes Romeo sneaks Diamond an extra dessert from the cafeteria or stops to chat with him when Krowe isn't around. Diamond really appreciates the effort.

• Shepherd: Slight dislike because of how he's in close cahoots with Krowe. Diamond knows that if he steps out of line, Shepherd would snitch on him instantly.

• Herring: Diamond doesn't trust him one bit. He's too polished, too pragmatic, too cold, just the kind of guy Krowe likes. Diamond hates that.
