[Bio] Allegra Silva was born in Chile to an italian mother and a chileno father. At a young age, she and her family immigrated to the US. As a bi-racial child growing up in a foreign country, Allegra was an early victim of discrimination. Due to this, she grew a strong sense of justice but also a bit of a complex. She constantly feels the need to prove her worth to others that cast prejudice against her.

As a teen, Allegra expressed desires to enter law enforcement, much to her family's dismay. Both sides of her family hated cops. They thought of them as nothing more than racist thugs in uniforms. Allegra disagreed . Yeah, a lot of them were crooked, but plenty more were just everyday people wanting to help. On top of this, Allegra felt she had something to prove. She faced a lot of doubt as a latina and wanted a strong way to push back against it.

At age 21 she started her career. Three years later, she's now a rookie detective, partnered with Senior Detective Al Turner. Allegra's seen as a rising star in her department. She's still met with naysayers but her hard work has shown she's a very capable officer and worthy of her most recent promotion.

Allegra hates dirty cops more than anything. They give other cops a bad name and work to undermine all of her efforts. She also despises racists and bigots of all sorts. She carries a strong distain for superheroes. She recognizes the need for them in a world where some threats are just too much for your everyday police, but she hates the shadow they cast over local PD. "Our job is just as important. When there's not some super maniac threatening mass casualties, we cops still gotta work to keep the streets clean and families safe."

[Setting] The story takes place in Diamond City, a large city with a lot of petty crime. It's protected by superheroes that mainly focus on larger threats that cause massive casualties. The Diamond City Police Department (DCPD) still work hard to protect the city from lesser criminals, but the public doesn't see it that way. The flashy heroics of supers, along with the public's pre established negative bias against cops leaves the DCPD under heavy scrutiny. Much of the public's animosity has frustrates Allegra. She works hard but faces judgement in nearly all corners of her life, even when she's just trying to help.

[Quirks] Allegra can come off as equal parts prideful and insecure. Due to the weight she carries, she internally questions herself relentlessly, holding herself to an unnecessarily high standard. Outwardly, she portrays a sense of pride, believing it to be a sign of strength to garner respect. She's incredibly hard working but often to her own risk. She'll jump at leads with less caution or work herself to exhaustion.

[Civilian Style] Whilst off the clock Allegra enjoys a more traditionally feminine style. She also enjoys encorporating styles from her heritage from either sides of her family.

[Side Characters] (Detective Al Turner - Allegra's partner. He's a senior detective and somewhat of a mentor to Allegra but there's something off about his personality. He's very perceptive, a great trait for a detective, but often mimicks others from their demeanor to their speech patterns. Al's been working at DCPD since before Allegra joined the force, but hasn't seemed to age over the years. He claims to be in his late 38 but looks like he's in his mid 20s. Al is nearing a promotion to Seargant. Currently, he's holding off his promotion until Allegra is more suited to work on cases of her own.)

(Maggie Shaw - A receptionist at the police station. She's close work friends with Allegra, one of the few people Allegra is willing to open up to about personal matters outside of work.)
