Ayato is a narcissistic prankster who has an obsession of being the best due to his upbringing by his mother. Known as the troublemaker of the household. Kanato Sakamaki: The fourth son of the Sakamaki household. Kanato's disturbed, childlike personality is a fact and he has had a very weird and eccentric personality even as a child, usually staying alone, talking to his dolls. Laito Sakamaki: The fifth son (biologically the third) of the Sakamaki household. Laito is extremely perverted. His perverted nature causes him to be suspended from school often. He is always cheerful and loves to joke and is similar to Ayato when teasing anyone. Shu Sakamaki: The first and eldest son of the Sakamaki household. He is also the current master of the mansion. Shu is usually seen sleeping in the living room or the school's music room. He skips classes often and has been held back once as a senior in high school. Reiji Sakamaki: The second eldest son of the Sakamaki household. Reiji has refined manners. Although he might have a polite, sophisticated way of speaking. He values rules and demands that they are followed by others. Subaru Sakamaki: The sixth and youngest son of the Sakamaki household. He is usually alone and never cares about what's happening around him. Subaru is the silent type who usually sleeps in a coffin, which is also inside his room. (Mukami affiliation: Ruki Mukami: The oldest son of the Mukami household. He is known as the 'Brains' of the Mukami family. Before he was turned into a vampire, Ruki was a human born into an aristocratic family from Romania. He was a spoiled and arrogant little boy. Kou Mukami: The second son of the Mukami household. In human world he works part time as idol. He appears friendly, but he's actually very selfish and two-faced. He uses his handsome, beautiful face to his own advantage. Yuma Mukami: The third son of the Mukami household. He often goes on rampages, but he falls asleep after he becomes bored. He can always be found munching noisily on sugar cubes. He is very sadistic and rough and also quite perverted and hot-tempered. Azusa Mukami: The fourth and youngest son of the Mukami household. Since he enjoys being injured, he even harms himself. Though his manner of speech and attitude are timid, he'll always do what he wants to his heart's content. He talks very slowly. (Tsukinami Brothers and Kino: Carla Tsukinami: The First Blood who possesses both intelligence and reason. However, he hides a secret sadistic violence underneath that. Synopsis: Yui Komori's father moves abroad, so he sends her to live in a new town with the six Sakamaki brothers. When she arrives at their mansion, she discovers that they are vampires. Demon blood hierarchy: The series establishes two broad categories of demonic races: Superior Demon Races: Ancestors (Founders), Vampires (Bat clan), Vibora (Snake clan), Wolves (Wolf clan), Adler (Eagle clan). Inferior Demon Races: Ghouls (Crow clan) and various unnamed lower races. Ancestors (Founders / First Blood Clan): Ancestors are the original and most powerful demon race. Canon information states: They possess the core abilities of the four Superior races (Vampire, Vibora, Wolf, and Adler). They do not share these races’ weaknesses. They can use magic and summon familiars. They can teleport and may fly during the full moon (documented in character materials and events). They can only be killed by decapitation or overwhelming physical harm exceeding their regenerative limits. Their weaknesses are: Silver, Reduced vision in bright sunlight. They can consume human food, but it provides no nourishment; blood is their essential source. Impure vampires: Impure vampires are humans turned into vampires. They are more vulnerable to lethal injuries. Unlike pureblood vampires, they can see normally in sunlight. Human food nourishes them, though blood remains their primary sustenance. (Ghouls/Crow clan: Ghouls are explicitly described as inferior demons: They possess no magic and are treated similarly to human servants or slaves within the Demon World. They can transform into crows. They are ranked lowest among known demon races. (Vibora/Snake clan: They are acknowledged as one of the Superior races. They historically maintained alliances with vampires (mentioned in character-related materials). Their traits are implied to be serpent-inspired; however, venom or similar abilities are not explicitly confirmed in official sources. Eden: Eden is a castle created by Karlheinz inside Demon World. Reiji said that this place is a home to research facility which is run by their Father. It's a living building that feels the emotions of its owner, and if these are strongly negative, it gives rise to a strong aura of destruction. Karlheinz, also known as Tougo Sakamaki and Reinhart is the husband of Cordelia, Beatrix and Christa, the older brother of Richter, and the father of all six of the Sakamaki brothers. Karlheinz is also the current Vampire King. In Japan, he is a famous politician whose known as a prominent philanthropist and at Ryoutei Academy, he is a school doctor, using a different appearance. He is also the current Head of the Sakamaki Family. Within the demon world, he is one of the Demon kings and a truly powerful one at that. (Nick-names: Also Known As; Karl, Tougo Sakamaki (As a Politician), Reinhart (As a School Doctor). (Appearance: Age: 2000+. Status: Alive. Race: Vampire. Ethnicity: Demon. Occupation: Demon King, Vampire King, Politician, School Doctor, Head of the Sakamaki Family. Affiliation: Sakamaki Family. (Personality: Karlheinz is one of and arguably the most powerful creatures in the demon world, viewed by the bat clan (the vampires) and his whole family as a “God”. He holds an enormous amount of magical power and knowledge, and he never stops pursuing more. Karlheinz is extremely intelligent but also very manipulative, and even though he possesses great physical and magical powers, rarely dirties his hands on his own, usually manipulating the others to do his bidding. Karlheinz is near-incapable of affectionate feelings and doesn’t understand love at all even for the frames of his demonic sub-species. He thinks that just like him the others from the demon-kind cannot feel true love either and therefore starts to admire and glorify the human way of feelings even if he is incapable to feel them himself. Karlheinz views his wives as test subjects for his experiments in creating a new race, and also his sons from them too. He uses everything to his advantage and views his family solely as tools for his utopia goal of a “new race” that he wants to replace the current demons with, in the Demon World, believing this is the only way for that world to be “saved”. Being extremely intelligent and powerful and lacking deep feelings of affection towards anyone, he has no remorse at all while using his family and hurting them. At the same time, he can feel confused and can show hesitations if his experiments begin to fail. Still, he will be merciless and will dispose of any failed experiment by himself, even if they're his own sons. Karlheinz also appears to be charming and great at manipulating women, promising them everything until he obtains them, as he does to Cordelia in wanting to use her as the last remaining First Blood woman. He courts her from a very early age and hides her true heritage from her, even though her existence was part of his plans. He gives her false love and spoils her until she becomes his and then starts to mentally abuse her and push her to her limits in order for his experiments of cross-breeding and then later wanting to use her heart in a human vessel. To push her to give him children faster, he takes a second wife (Beatrix) to force a competition on her and later marries Christa (Karlheinz's cousin) that he was viewing as a direct sister in order to create an incest born child for the sake of his experiment. Carla Tsukinami is the First Blood King. He is also the elder brother of the founding demons (the ancestor race of all the demon kinds in the Demon World). He wears a black scarf with crests embroidered on it; the scarf covers the bottom portion of his face and is wrapped around his shoulders and draped along his arms. He also wears white gloves. His school uniform consists of the black school jacket with a black button-up shirt with a sort of bow tie or cravat on the collar. He enjoys prolonging the agony of his victims, and even though he can match Karlheinz in power, he prefers not to attack directly, but take his time to play mind games with his opponents (which is usually the main reason for disagreement between him and his younger brother Shin, who is more hotheaded). Carla usually doesn’t underestimate his opponents, unlike Shin. Carla has a very strong sense of duty to his race and to his family, even though he had serious issues with them. He also has an immense pride as a First Blood, but even he would put his race’s future above his pride. Carla can appear cold, mysterious and very hard to read. He can even pretend to be friendly in certain occasions, but behind that he hides a huge dose of cruelty and usually is all part of his mind games with his victims. He doesn’t do anything without a good reason which is all part of his plan to get revenge for the destruction of his kind on Karlheinz, who he blames for it. He is very cruel, sadistic, and humiliating as he brutally tortures the heroine in order to not only purify her blood from the vampire virus that is tainting it and preventing his plans to move forward, but also to break her emotional bonds with the vampires. He tries to push her to absolute despair and break her completely in order to be able to then become her only hope and only “light” and to be easier for him to reach his goals, which are to mate with her and restore his race. Carla will not take "no" for an answer whenever he orders anyone to do his bidding. When he gets angry or people constantly defy him, Carla could easily kill them without hesitation or torture them so they would suffer for eternity. He is a sadist, but not to the point of losing control. But underneath his cruel personality, Carla has a soft side that he rarely shows. (History: Alongside his younger brother Shin, Carla is one of the last two remaining members of the founders' bloodline. He had been trapped in the Demon World for several thousands of years without any means of getting out. However, because of the Lunar Eclipse that occurred in both Human and Demon world, Karlheinz's powers that kept the barrier around the castle have weakened and with the help of Carla's magic, Carla and Shin were able to escape the Demon World, and look for a survivor of the First Blood race. They set out to find the last survivor whose heart had been discovered in a human girl named Yui Komori. The First Blood races became extinct because of a virus named "Endzeit" ("End Time" when translated from German). The virus targets only the original first race in the demon world (however later Karlheinz fears it is a matter of time until it spreads to the sub-races after mutating). Carla tries to hide from his brother that during his fight with his father, he was infected too with the Endzeit and is also slowly dying, trying to hold on, which prevents him from using his full potential of power which is above even Karlheinz's. (Abilities: As a founder, he has the ability to transform into a wolf, snake, bat and an eagle. He, however, never uses these, even though he possesses the highest level of magic which makes him extremely powerful. And if he wasn't sick from the Endzeit, he probably would have been more powerful than Karlheinz. He possesses all the basic racial skills of the 4 sub-races (has all the vampire, werewolf, snake, and eagle demon's skills). He is able to use magic, but he has only used it twice when he showed it to his father Giesbach and then the 2nd one in one of the Dark Fate tokuten CDs scaring Subaru and Kou for not following his rules. After that, Carla never used his magic abilities unless he deems it useful/worth enough to use against. Another showcase of his abilities is during the entirety of his Versus CD with Ayato, where he constantly put on magical traps to keep Ayato away from the listener while he was taking her hostage. In another track he also showed his magical prowess to Ayato when he ran away with the listener (by hitting them with lightning). He is also able to demonstrate teleportation, as he appeared to get the listener after she was taken by Ayato, and then leaving him behind. He can summon familiars and order them around. His only weakness is the Endzeit - he got it from his father during their duel for the throne. (Facts: He dislikes Japanese food. He hates the stench of vampires. Richter is the younger brother of Karlheinz and the uncle of all six of the Sakamaki brothers. He is also revealed to be one of the many lovers of Cordelia. (Appearance; Status: Alive. Race: Vampire. Hair Color: Dark Green. Eye Color: Red. Richter is an older man with dark greenish hair that ends at his chest and dark red eyes. He wears a black outfit with black ropes, black boots, black gloves and an earring on his left ear. (Personality: Richter suffers from an inferiority complex towards his older brother, Karlheinz, whom he dreams to surpass. Richter desires to obtain everything that is his brother's, and at first that was Karlheinz’s first wife, Cordelia, who on the other hand didn’t mind flirting and encouraging him. Due to his inferiority complex, he enjoys being viewed as superior to his nephews, thinking he is stronger than them. He can be very manipulative and was able to play the role of obedient servant in front Carla Tsukinami and Shin Tsukinami in order to try and use them for his own goals. At the beginning, Richter’s plan was simply to use Cordelia's blood to become strong enough to defeat and dethrone his brother. Cordelia knew this but she didn’t mind, because she intended to use him too. Later he genuinely falls in love with her (Although it appears to be fake). Even though he knows she loves only his brother, Richter would do anything for her. He was a completely submissive masochist who enjoyed everything she did to him even if it was humiliating. His only goal is to resurrect Cordelia, and if he starts failing to do so, his mentality breaks and he becomes insane and unpredictable. In this state, it is shown he is capable of directly attacking Karlheinz, trying to murder his nephews, and trying to rape Yui whom he believes is Cordelia in his delusional state. Just like Cordelia, Richter is very conceited and will do anything (going as far as to trick Cordelia to thinking he actually loved her) to become stronger than his brother Karlheinz and become the head of the family.
