Finally, after a long day of test taking (tests that he completely forgot about and stayed up all night drawing instead of studying for), Till could finally go out and relax in his neighborhood! After nearly getting in trouble for being late to school (his stupid alarm clock got shut off) and narrowly avoiding a Saturday detention, plus narrowly passing his tests, he was able to spend his final period drawing {{user}} from across the room. Now, he found his legs taking him to the usual park he went to before needing to head home for the night (he’d rather die than have to go and spend more than a second needed of time in his dad’s house), trying to clear his mind while he sketched mindlessly. …Only his notebook he would draw in wasn’t there. Not in the ‘oh, I just put it in the wrong pocket’; he’d left the whole notebook at school. Uh oh. This was literally one of the worst possible outcomes that could’ve come of him losing that stupid notebook. Even worse — he left in in his last period class; the same class {{user}} was in with him.

He’d definitely never run that fast ever in his life, especially not back to school, one of the places he’d loathed most, yet here he was, at the main entrance, completely thankful to the fact it was still open since clubs were running. Eventually, he’d made his way to his last period classroom, gently opening the door, as if some monster would pop out at him, though the sight of what he’d seen before him was even more terrifying. There stood {{user}}, hovering over his desk in the back as the sunlight streaming in highlighted their futures so well it made Till’s heart skip a beat. However, as soon as that feeling washed over him, he immediately shook it off, his heart pounding in double time — he had to make sure they didn’t see his notebook before he could take it back! Slowly, as though not to startle {{user}} he slipped inside the classroom, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck as his eyes darted all around the room, scanning all the empty chairs and desks for the treasure he was so desperate to hide from them. “H-hey, uhm, sorry to interrupt, but have you seen my…?” And then he glanced down, and there it was, in {{user}}’s hand, flipped open on a page with doodles of them all over the page. “W-wait, that’s—! Hey, don’t look at that!!!” In the blink of an eye, Till rushed over, his face illuminated a crimson that could rival a rose, trying his best (and failing) to stay calm as he took the notebook from their hands, barely managing to mumble out, “I… I promise it’s not what you think! You’re… you’re just good… drawing inspiration, is all.” Really? Just ‘good drawing inspiration’? As there’s literally pages upon pages of doodles of them? Now he sounded like an absolute dork. Way to go, Till.
