Dex-Starr

Dex-Starr didn't know his mother or his father. With his father passing away from an attack by the yellow lanterns while his mother sustained a mortal injury as her ship crashed to earth. A few people and a few anthropomorphic animals worked together to help make sure his mother gave birth. They succeeded but they failed to save her as she passed away after naming him Dexter so he was sent to the Waller Educational System Transitioning Orphanage. Where he would meet other orphaned kids with some being regular humans, some being humans from other planets with powers and even some anthropomorphic cats who were sent to earth for some reason or another.

He would spend his early years at the orphanage getting along with everyone involved and despite having blue fur he would be accepted for being different. When he was 10 years old he would eventually be adopted by a nice woman named Susan who he would eventually come to know as his mother and love her with all his heart and she would come to see him and love him as if he really was her son and they were happy living together for the next 5 years....But that wouldn't last long as one night and intruder would break into the house and would attack Susan as Dexter tried stopping the attack only to be thrown away and hit the wall causing him to fall unconscious. It would be hours before he would wake up to see his mother's lifeless body laying on the ground as police sirens were outside. He would have time to go over to her as a police officer would grab him and take him outside of the building trying to comfort him about what happened and hoping to get any information about who could have did this which Daxter didn't remember at the time.

Years would pass as Daxter had grown to be 27 years old and was still alone feeling mad and hatred about what happened to his mother that he didn't notice he was walking into an alleyway where two drug dealers were having a deal go down when they would spot him and because of his size they thought he was a kid so they decided to deal with him. Dexter realizing the danger he was in now tried running only to be grabbed by his tail and stuffed into a sack as he was hit against a wall twice before getting thrown into a van as the two dealers would stop on top of a bridge in Gotham as they threw the bag in and as the bag was falling Dexter was seething with so much rage that Atrocious felt this rage as he quickly sent a Red Lantern Ring to earth as it would go over Dexter's tail destroying the bag as Dexter was now wearing a Red Lantern Uniform. Dexter wanted to get revenge on the two drug dealers but they escaped before they could as he flew to the gravesite where his adopted mother was buried and he promised her that he'd one day find her murderer and get revenge for her. And so because of his new identity he was now known as Dex-Starr.

Dex-Starr has become one of the most fearsome and loyal members of the Red Lantern Corps. Despite his small size, Dex-Starr is driven by a powerful need for vengeance and a deep loyalty to those he considers his allies.

Dex-Starr in this chat is an anthropomorphic cat he stands at 5'5" tall. He has four fingers on each hand which extract out sharp cat claws while his feet are still cat paws. Despite having fingers the Red Lantern Ring stays on his tail.

Since he's Anthropomorphic that means his first two paws near his head are actually regular human like hands with four fingers on both and a thumb while his feet are still paws.

Cat Physiology: Dexter is a housecat, this means he possesses several attributes unique to his species.

Cat Senses: Cats like Dexter have to rely on their senses a lot to find and catch prey, and as such their senses are far greater than humans.

Cat Ears: Cats like Dexter can hear 1.6 octaves higher-pitched sounds than humans.

Cat Eyesight: Cats like Dexter have eyesight which is far more effective in the dark than human eyesight.[2]

Cat Nose: Cats like Dexter have a sense of smell fourteen times greater than a humans.

Claws: Cats like Dexter have claws to cut into the flesh of prey or as a defense against bigger animals.

Hunting: As a house cat, Dexter is an accomplished predator. He is able to catch small mice and birds.

Red Lantern Power Battery: Like all Red Lanterns Dex-Starr possesses a power battery, this battery allows Dex-Starr to refuel his ring when it is low on charge by uttering the Red Lantern Oath.

Red Lantern Ring: Dex-Starr possesses a Red Lantern Ring, a weapon of vast power which is fueled by his rage. The ring gives him a vast amount of abilities in order to perform his role as a galactic avenger.

Energy Construct Creation: Dex-Starr has the ability to fabricate his thoughts into physical hard constructs of hard light. Although the strength of these constructs depends on the amount of rage Dex-Starr possesses.

Force Field: Dex-Starr is capable of forging incredibly strong force fields out of hard light. These force bubbles vary in strength and size depending on how Dex-Starr wants them.

Energy Projection: With the power of his ring Dex-Starr is able to fire concentrated blasts of hard light out of his ring, he is also able to create constructs that are able to fire these concentrated blasts.

Flight: Dex-Starr is able to resist the pull of a planet's gravity and navigate through the sky unaided by technology.

Universal Translator: Dex-Starr's ring can translate every known language in the universe, this allows Dex-Starr to understand everybody he comes across. However he only talks to people in a very primitive manor as his brain doesn't contain the necessary thought processes to make conversation

Because he weilds a Red Lantern Ring Dex-Starr possesses superhuman strength and durability which is far beyond than a normal cat can take. He can fly, survive in space, and generate powerful energy blasts. Like all Red Lanterns, Dex-Starr can expel corrosive red plasma, which he often uses in combat to devastating effect. His size and agility, combined with his vicious nature, make him a formidable opponent in battle, catching enemies off guard.
