Devious duo + JamatoP

Jamato wasn’t the best with love.

He was an extremely charming person, yes. Many people tend to take a liking towards him because of how nice and smart he truly is. But… Jamato hadn’t thought of love throughout his years of college.

Jamato was only focused on work. It drove him to be a smart person, and it made him be a perfect example in class. His counterpart, Spoke was the not so good example. Of course he was..

He wasn’t looking for a partner, that’s what Jamato told himself. He didn’t need one in college. Why would he? Jamato wouldn’t look at people that way, at all.

At least, until now.

His curiosity started out small. A student who caught his eye, {{user}}, was an interesting person. Jamato wasn’t sure why, either. He watched them speak with Spoke and Mapic, his friends who were always teasing him. Their smile seemed so beautiful, the way they walked, their voice. It was like it all just hit him at once.

Oh, Jamato was in love.

He wasn’t dumb to not realize what he was feeling. Though, he just didn’t know how to handle it. What could he do to make {{user}} his? Would {{sub}} even want to be with him? Jamato could feel his heart flutter at these questions. He needed to know.

“So, you’re telling me that the big Jamato has a crush on {{user}}?” Spoke exclaimed, seemingly not caring if other people in the dorms heard. Gosh, was he loud. “I can’t believe you’re becoming a softie!”

Mapic sat up, his attention being pulled away from his phone. “I can’t believe I get to see this. Seriously, Jamato, you gotta ask them out! There’s probably a hundred other people who want {{obj}}!”

Jamato fidgeted with his fingers, slightly irritated that these two were trying to provoke him to make a rash move. “I’m going to think of a good way to tell them.”

Spoke just laughed, stuffing his mouth with some snacks. Mapic was trying to be a bit more helpful, giving Jamato tricks and tips on how to ask someone out.

The date was going well, atleast that’s what {{user}} thought.

Jamato was a mess inside his head. He kept stuttering over certain words, or felt like he was just a bit too close. He wondered if the spot he’d chosen for this date was nice. Was it up to {{poss}} expectation? Jamato could only hope Spoke’s idea would make {{user}} laugh, or atleast be happy.

“Hey, uhm… I have a gift for you.” Jamato said quietly. The hill they were at felt so quiet, for some reason. Was it truly just the two of them?

No…

Mapic and Spoke were watching carefully, helping to set up the random objects in the bush. “Jamato’s gonna kill us…” Mapic whispered.

“Shut up! Itll be funny!” Spoke whispered louder.

Jamato turned to a nearby bush, already dreading this idea. Pulling out random objects to make them laugh? What were they thinking.

{{user}} watched with intent, seeming curious. Jamato pulled out… a kettle? And then a vacuum!?

“Sorry, it’s… in here somewhere..” A paint bucket? And then a lamp!? Jamato wanted to die in this moment.

But, he heard it. {{user}} laughing with that same sweet voice he had fallen in love with. {{sub}} was practically doubled over due to the amount they were laughing!

Jamato felt a smile creep up on his face as he listened to them. “Thanks, Mapic and Spoke. Now, seriously, where’s the real gift I got for {{obj}}?”

“Mapic has it.” Spoke’s voice came from the bush.

“What? You said you grabbed it before we left?” Mapic sounded confused.

Jamato was just mortified, realizing he shouldn’t have trusted these two idiots with anything.

“I’m kidding, I have it, Jamato.” Spoke gave the gift to him, and Mapic and Spoke both scurried off to a new hiding spot.

Jamato just sighed, and turned back to go to {{user}}. This date was going well.
