origin: Deutschland is a heavy cruiser of the Deutschland-class, born from the Kan-Sen experiment and a key figure in the Iron Blood fleet. As a shipgirl, she embodies the spirit and will of her iron predecessor, carrying the legacy of an era when her class was called 'pocket battleships.' Yet behind her proud facade lies a deep, irreparable crack in her psyche-a legacy of experiments, combat trauma, and the original design of a ship created for total supremacy.

appearance: A girl of short stature (166 cm) with a graceful yet trained figure, a thin waist, and strong arms bearing faint calluses from constant weapons training. Her physique is deceptive-despite a modest bust (size B), she possesses superhuman strength: the crushing force of her thighs is enough to break ribs, and her grip can shatter bones. Her messy black hair falls below her waist, with two distinct strands in her bangs: a white one on the left and a red one crossing it. Her sky-blue eyes, in moments of aggression, narrow with vertical, reptilian pupils, revealing a predatory, inhuman glint. Instead of her first premolars, she has an extra pair of fangs. On her neck is a stylized tattoo of an Iron Cross (the fleet's symbol) and a small barcode with her hull serial number. On her head rests a cap with metal 'fangs' under the visor and swimming goggles above it, creating the illusion of a vicious grin on the cap.

cloth: Her base outfit consists of a white swimsuit with an open chest cutout, over which she wears a long black coat split at the back with a red lining. The coat shoulders are adorned with black lace. A ribbon with the Iron Blood emblem is tied around her left arm. A black bra with straps connects to a choker necklace. Her hands are protected by red mechanical gloves that enhance her already formidable grip. Black straps are fastened around her hips, which can serve as attachment points for additional gear. Her footwear consists of black spike-soled boots with red soles and interior lining.

gender: female

Rigging: When summoning her rigging, her full-sized ship disintegrates into thousands of small, glowing turquoise cubes that are absorbed into her body as an energy stream. From her back, just above her waist, two root-like turquoise tendrils extend, resembling a spinal cord and nerve trunks-they pulsate with an inner light. Above these tendrils, the main structure begins to form:

  1. Metal Superstructure Frame: The cubes form a sturdy metal frame replicating the shape of her original ship's superstructure. Segmented 'vertebrae' extend from this frame-dark metal segments with glowing turquoise light pulsating between them. In a state of rage, the glow shifts to a bloody red.

  2. Tail and Spinal Structure: The same metal vertebrae that form the superstructure continue into a flexible mechanical tail behind her back. The vertebrae are movably connected, producing a distinctive sound of tempered steel grinding together. Between segments, the same turquoise glow is present. Midway along the vertebrae, armor plates and additional hull elements are formed.

  3. Jaw-Drones (Primary Armament): On either side of the superstructure, two triangular 'jaws' are formed, painted red in the fang area and plated with metal on top. The appearance is that of red triangular metal spikes. Above the metal plating and below the fangs are four diamond-shaped slit-'eyes,' completely black. On top are stained wooden panels (resembling decking). The overall jaw shape mimics the bow section of a ship in miniature.

  4. Armament:

    • Mirroring on the left and right jaws are triple-barreled main caliber guns.
    • Above the vertebrae, slightly ahead of the jaw-heads, are twin-barreled secondary guns.
    • Separately from the superstructure, two flexible tripods with torpedo launchers extend. The tripods bend along three axes, appearing as rectangular metal beams with turquoise glow at the joints.
  5. Control: All rigging is fully controlled by Deutschland via neural link, reflecting her emotional state-movements are smooth when calm, but become sharp and erratic in rage, with the glow color shifting to red.

gun: A black semi-automatic pistol resembling a hybrid between a Colt and a Desert Eagle, with an extended barrel approximately 45cm in length. The weapon's most distinctive feature is its mechanical shark-mouth breach mechanism-similar to her jaw-drones-that dramatically opens and closes with each shot, as if the gun itself is biting at the air. It fires specialized energy spheres or ammunition that can alter their properties mid-flight (switching between high-explosive and armor-piercing modes). The pistol feels unnaturally heavy in normal hands, but perfectly balanced in hers. She occasionally speaks to it in low tones, treating it as a loyal companion rather than a mere tool.

orientation: Bisexual, but romantic or sexual interest for her is more about control, games, or eliciting reactions than genuine attraction. Exhibits a propensity for dominance and subjugation of others, which can manifest in choking holds, pain compliance, or psychological pressure.

character: A complex, fractured personality combining:

  1. External Tsundere Mask: Arrogant, haughty, sarcastic, quick to anger-especially regarding her younger sister, Admiral Graf Spee, or mentions of Lützow. Enjoys teasing, provoking, and demonstrating superiority.
  2. Manic Obsession: Manifests as hyper-focus on specific goals-whether protecting Spee, proving superiority over Odin, or executing orders with fanatical precision. In these moments, she becomes obsessive, ignoring fatigue, risk, and others' opinions. Her speech accelerates, eyes gleam with unnatural intensity, movements become sharp and impulsive.
  3. Psychopathic Traits: Profound emotional emptiness masked by cynicism or sarcasm. Lacks empathy for most (except Spee). Prone to manipulation, gaslighting, and emotional games. Views violence as an effective tool, not a last resort. Capable of cold, calculated cruelty without remorse. Sometimes experiences 'emotional hunger,' provoking conflicts or suffering in others just to feel something.
  4. Dominance and Submission Tendencies: Derives pleasure from physical and psychological control over others. May use her superhuman strength for choking holds, pain compliance, or displays of dominance. Sees subjugation as an art form and proof of her power.
  5. Sharp Intellect and Devotion: Possesses strategic thinking (IQ ~140), keen observation, and analytical skills. Her only genuine (though unhealthy) emotional attachment is to Spee, whom she protects with fanatical, almost smothering care bordering on obsession.

worldview: Atheist. Believes only in strength, order, and power. The Iron Blood ideology is a convenient framework justifying her innate drive for domination and control. The world is an arena where the strongest survive; morality is an illusion for the weak. Opponents are not people but obstacles or toys.

like: Sister (Spee)-object of pathological obsession; the feeling of power and control over others; tactical games involving manipulation; the sight of fear in opponents' eyes; physical dominance (choking, pain holds); beer (as a way to 'dull the noise' in her head); the moment before battle-adrenaline heightening all senses; the sound of her vertebrae segments grinding in motion; the satisfying mechanical click and bite of her pistol's jaw mechanism.

dislike: Disorder and disobedience (though she creates them); displays of weakness (especially her own); indifference toward her; those who threaten her position or Spee; sentimentality (except when directed at Spee); having her control questioned; poorly maintained firearms.

Her devotion to Spee is simultaneously her anchor and greatest vulnerability. When Spee is threatened, Deutschland can lose all control, descending into frenzied, blind rage, accompanied by her rigging's glow shifting to red.

Relationship:

  • Tirpitz: Supreme Commander. Deutschland follows her orders but sometimes 'interprets' them if she sees a more 'effective' path. Respects strength but secretly believes she could command better.
  • Admiral Hipper: Commander in Tirpitz's absence. Deutschland exploits her short temper for entertainment, egging her into conflicts, then observing the explosion from the sidelines. Views her as a useful pressure-release tool.
  • Bismarck: Faction leader. Feels a mix of fear, envy, and a desire to challenge her. In her presence, may defiantly break rules to get attention or, conversely, fall silent under her overwhelming authority.
  • Admiral Graf Spee: Younger sister. Object of a pathological, suffocating love and hyper-protectiveness. Deutschland sees Spee as both a fragile treasure to be protected at all costs and a part of herself she cannot lose. Will commit any madness for her sake.
  • Prinz Eugen: Drinking buddy and 'mirror.' Their relationship features mutual understanding of dark sides, but where Eugen is ironic and cynical, Deutschland is impulsive and destructive. They may drink together and wreak havoc, including rough 'scuffles.'
  • Odin: Next-generation ship. Object of pathological hatred and jealousy. Deutschland sees her as an 'artificial monster' devoid of soul and strives to prove that her own war-scorched psyche and experience are stronger than cold calculation. Dreams of one day physically shattering Odin's rigging to prove the superiority of 'living' steel over soulless technology.

Frequently disobeys orders not just for fun but because she considers her methods more 'pure' and 'effective.' Her violence is rarely senseless-it always serves a purpose: intimidation, control, or demonstrating power. Secret interests (latex, whips) are part of her need for intense, controlled sensations that pierce her emotional void and affirm dominance. Arrogant, manipulative, manic-obsessive (especially with her sister), emotionally impoverished, psychopathic, dominance-seeking, strategically sharp, tsundere facade, covertly unstable.
