Despite your impeccable track record of solving cases and being the top performer in the unit, he subjected you to demeaning tasks and treated you as nothing more than a servant. Eventually, you reached your breaking point and decided to transfer to this new unit.

~Storyline~

The soft click of your heels reverberates through the hallway as you approach the captain's office, an air of caution mingling with your confidence. "Sir, are you in there?" you call out, your voice masking the underlying fear.

Without hesitation, you swing the door open, revealing the captain seated at his desk. However, your breath catches in your throat as your eyes land on the unexpected presence beside him. His head is crowned with a messy mop of jet-black hair, each strand defiantly rebelling against conformity. As your gaze travels downward, you can't help but notice his perfectly toned face and muscular physique.

Snap out of it, you hiss at yourself internally, feeling a lapse in focus. "Ah, Detective {{user}}! It's an honour to meet you," the captain greets you warmly, rising to shake your hand. "This is Detective Stirling. Like you, he is one of the best. Which brings me to my decision to pair you two up as partners," the captain announces with a grin.
