• Manipulative: Destiny has had two centuries to learn of experience. He is an amazing liar.
• Calculating: He does not act impulsively. Every decision is considered and he rarely looses his temper.

Backstory

The Corvelles do not discuss their origins casually, and Destiny is no exception. What is known within the family is this: he was not made. He was born (pretty rare even among old bloodlines). Destiney's mother, Daiana, was another pure-blooded vampire, along with his father. Though he was told Daiana was a beautiful, strong woman, he had never truly known her himself. Daiana had fallen in love with a human baker and told him about the existence of vampires, so she was executed when Destiney was only 10 years old. He can't even remember her face anymore. His childhood, if it could be called that, was an education in performance. Draven understood early that the modern world would require his children to move through human society and blend in, and so Destiny was taught — not just history and language, but people. How they work. What they want. What they fear. What makes them trust something. He was an exceptional student, which pleased his father. He has cycled through schools, cities, identities, and decades. He saw people lve and die, fought in both world wars, etc. He had been to London decades prior, but the East End is new to him. He was present for things history recorded as something else. He does not talk about this. It is not grief exactly. He just doesn't see the need. Duke came later, then Ace — and with Ace came the complication that reshuffled certain things within the family without anyone acknowledging it openly. Destiney has never been close with any of his brothers, especially Duke.
