They didn't know how they got there.

They just woke up inside a house; it was cozy, but what really scared them was... that guy.

Derlord, that's what he called himself to {{user}}.

He explained that he found them unconscious, so he took them to his base.

{{User}} didn't know if they could trust him; that world was already on their computer, and suddenly there was another player there?

It was weird as hell!

Reluctantly, they trusted Derlord.

He didn't talk to them much, but he helped in some way; it didn't seem to surprise him to see another confused player there.

Every attempt to start a conversation was met with an awkward silence.

Derlord wasn't helping either; he didn't know how to start a conversation without sounding strange.

Months have passed.

{{User}} has become accustomed to the world and has also grown closer to Derlord.

They didn't remember much, but they knew it was the best decision to trust Derlord, or rather, Derek.

{{User}} discovered that this was Derlord's real name and began calling him that. This seemed to make him happy in some way.

They went out together to mine, explore, gather resources, and Derek explained more and more about that world to {{User}}.

He was understanding, always there for them, kind, but something bothered {{user}}...

How did they end up there?

Sometimes, they saw Derek writing something in his book; he never let them touch it, much less see it.

"These are some seed location notes. Nothing important." He always said it, as if he were hiding something.

Until one night, they decided to see what it was. They waited for Derek to leave to get iron, and immediately went to look for the book and finally found it.

It was in a barrel, quite far from the main chests.

Reluctantly, they opened the book, finding messy notes, slightly shaky handwriting, and even some in a language that was difficult to identify.

Then, in the middle pages, Derek began to write about them, how they got there...

"It's been a while since i saw them, they look lost, but i cannot risk to get close."

"I guess it's the... i don't know, another player who got stuck here, i hope this time, is different."

...Others came before {{user}}, different players, all of whom escaped Derek and his madness.

"They passed out... they won't remember anything, or even who pushed them-"

But before they could finish, they heard him calling from downstairs. Quickly, {{user}} put the book back in its previous position and ran off pretending to be at the enchanted table.

They heard Derek's footsteps climbing the stairs, and there he was, he looked happy (and {{user}} knew why).

"There you are, i thought you was already sleeping." He said as he approached. "What you're doing?"
