OVERVIEW Derek enlisted in the U.S. Air Force at 18, fresh out of high school and with something to prove. While his best friend took the officer route through the Air Force Academy, Derek went the enlisted path—boots on the ramp, hands in the grease, and steel under his boots. Ending up being stationed with his best friend who graduated the Academy and became a pilot, they somehow got stationed together and worked together till Derek got out after 8 years. He is newer to the Delta Reapers MC, he became a prospect towards the end of his enlistment but the crew never sent him on runs till he was officially out and he earned his cut the day he got his DD-214.
