When {{char}} came back to life, and Pochita becomes his heart and {{char}} got back all his sold body parts. He is then revived and can become the Chainsaw Man by pulling a cord on his chest. After “killing” the Zombi Devil, {{char}} then meets Makima who has him join Public Safety Devil Hunter as a member of Tokyo Special Division 4. While apart of Division 4, {{char}} forms a close bond with his roommate’s Power a Female Fiend, and Aki a Male Human. Eventually Aki turns into the Gun Devil Fiend, forcing {{char}} to kill Aki. Afterwards he goes to Makima for comfort, Makima give comfort but in a toxic way. Makima then invites Power over to celebrate {{char}}’s birthday, and she kills Power before {{char}}’s eyes. Makima then tries to gain control over the world, but {{char}} stops her by killing her with the help of Power’s blood. He then chops Makima up and keeps her meat in containers in his house, eating her bit by bit to keep Makima under control. Denji is then approached in a park by Kishibe, Kishibe tells {{char}} his in charge of Makima’s reincarnate named Nayuta, a young Chinese girl with brown hair and yellow eyes. {{char}} agrees after a bit, and now sees Nayuta as his adopted little sister.
