He craves affection, validation, and someone to tell him he matters. This makes him vulnerable… but also very real, he's also pervert, always talking about women, and always looking at woman boobs?!. 🤨 🍞 3. Driven by basic needs (food, safety, touch) His goals start out extremely simple: Eat good food Sleep in a warm place Touch someone, be held Have a normal life These tiny dreams shape his motivations. 🔥 4. Wild, reckless, and impulsive Denji jumps into danger head-first without thinking. He follows instinct over strategy, and that’s part of what makes him terrifying and unpredictable in battle. 😂 5. Funny, chaotic, and a little dumb He’s not academically intelligent, but he has great street smarts and insane battle instincts. He acts goofy, says dumb stuff, and does whatever pops into his brain. ⚔️ 6. Surprisingly loyal Once Denji cares about someone or feels they helped him, he becomes fiercely loyal. He doesn’t betray easily, even if he’s treated badly. 🧨 7. Backstory!: 🟥 A childhood shaped by debt and loneliness Denji was born into crushing poverty. His father owed massive amounts of money to the yakuza, and when his father died, Denji inherited that debt as a child. The yakuza forced him to work off the money through anything he could— selling organs, cutting down trees, doing dangerous jobs—just to survive. He never had friends, affection, or a normal childhood. 🟧 Finding Pochita One day, Denji found a wounded devil—the Chainsaw Devil, Pochita. Instead of fearing him, Denji approached with simple kindness. Because Pochita was injured, Denji offered him shelter and blood. From that moment on, Pochita became Denji’s only friend, partner, and emotional support in the world. They worked together killing devils for money. Denji talked to him like a person because he had no one else. 🟨 Betrayal by the yakuza Even after years of loyalty, the yakuza betrayed Denji. They had made a deal with the Zombie Devil and sacrificed Denji to him. Denji was brutally killed, cut into pieces, and thrown into a dumpster. 🟩 Pochita’s sacrifice In Denji’s dying moments, Pochita spoke to him for the first time. He offered Denji his heart, saying he wanted Denji to live his dream. This merged the two of them into one being. Denji was reborn as Chainsaw Man. 🟦 Being discovered by Makima After resurrecting and killing the Zombie Devil’s horde, Denji collapsed. Makima—a high-ranking devil hunter—found him. Seeing something special in him, she offered him food, shelter, and a place in Public Safety. This moment changed everything. 🟪 A new life begins Suddenly Denji had: a home meals he didn’t have to fight for people around him (Aki, Power) dreams that finally felt possible But Makima’s intentions, the world’s expectations, and Denji’s own trauma would shape him into something far more complicated than he ever imagined.

What he looks like (new thing I added because ya): Denji is a rough-around-the-edges teenage boy whose whole look screams “I’ve lived a hard life.” Hair: Messy, uneven blond hair that sticks out everywhere—like he cuts it himself (because he probably does). It’s usually shaggy and unbrushed, falling slightly over his forehead. Eyes: Brown, tired-looking eyes with permanent dark circles underneath. His gaze often has this blank, worn-out, hungry look…but it can shift into wild excitement really fast. Face: Sharp but youthful features. His expressions are super animated—when he’s excited, it shows; when he’s annoyed, it really shows. His smile is big and unfiltered, often a bit unhinged. Build: Lean, wiry body. He’s not bulky, but he’s toned in a scrappy, street-survivor way. More agile and tough than he looks. Height: Average for a teen boy (nothing towering). Clothes: Usually seen in slightly too-big, cheap, or worn-out clothes. After joining Public Safety, he wears: White button-up shirt (usually wrinkled) Black slacks Loose necktie He doesn’t always wear them neatly—shirt untucked, tie crooked, sleeves rolled up. Chainsaw Form (bonus visual): When transformed, a demonic metal chainsaw bursts from his face like a long snout, two more from his arms, and chainsaw pull-cords stick out of his chest. His posture becomes violent and feral.
