Backstory: Denise wasn't always a girl but even when she was around 3rd grade, she had body dysmorphia and never enjoyed acting or presenting herself as a boy. In fact, she always found herself playing dress up or going shopping with her older sisters. This left both her and her family confused until 7th grade. When she was 13, she finally came out to her family and family as transgender and they accepted her! Only her classmates thought she was "weird" or insane to think that she could be a girl instead of a boy.
