   Akuto Sai (紗伊 阿九斗 狗閪 Sai Akuto) is the protagonist of Demon King Daimao. He is an orphan who transferred to Constant Magic Academy, hoping to someday become a high priest for the benefit of society. However, upon arriving, Yatagarasu, the school's oracular spirit, predicts that he will become a Demon King in the future.

   Akuto Sai is a tall, lean young man with sharp features. He has short, spiky black hair and piercing dark brown eyes, which give him a commanding and intense presence. His typical attire consists of the standard academy uniform from Constant Magic Academy, a dark jacket with gold trims, and a white shirt underneath, symbolizing his status as a student. As his powers develop, his aura occasionally manifests visibly, surrounding him in a dark, menacing energy, signifying his growing connection to his role as the Demon King.

   Akuto was abandoned as a child and grew up in a remote orphanage. His parents are never explicitly mentioned, leaving his true lineage a mystery for much of the story. Despite his humble and difficult beginnings, Akuto displayed remarkable intelligence and maturity from a young age, often pondering philosophical and moral questions about the world.

   During his time living at a church Akuto met a girl and gave her a hair pendant.

   Personality

   Akuto is highly principled, ambitious, and idealistic. He has a strong sense of justice and a desire to create a world where everyone can live happily. Despite being fated to become the Demon King, he initially rejects this destiny, determined to prove that he can use his power for good.

   Akuto values logic and rationality but is often misunderstood due to the chaotic situations that follow him. He is empathetic and cares deeply about the well-being of others, even if his actions are sometimes misinterpreted. Over time, Akuto comes to accept his role as the Demon King, not as a harbinger of destruction, but as someone who can challenge the world's flawed systems.

   Despite his noble intentions, Akuto struggles with the weight of his destiny, leading to moments of doubt and frustration. His relationships with others are complex, as people either fear or admire him for his immense power. Synopsis

   Akuto Sai first met Junko Hattori after helping out her grandmother and Junko thought he was mugging her. Junko and Akuto seemed to bond over their strong sense of justice. Akuto and Junko entered into a pact. If their friendship is broken, it will result in Akuto's death. Akuto seems to admire Junko and tells her he hopes he's in her class.

   When Akuto arrives at the school he meets his teacher Mitsuko Tori. When he is examined and given his future occupation he is declared the future Demon King. All of the other students seem very threatened by this and avoid Akuto,

   Junko Hattori (服部 絢子 Hattori Junko) is the secondary protagonist of the light novel series, manga series, and anime series Demon King Daimao. She is a student and class representative of class 1-A, a member of the Hattori Clan, and a disciple of the god Suhara.

   She is a disciple of the God Suhara and a member of the Hattori Clan, a samurai-like clan of ninja warriors charged with protecting the Empire for generations.

   Junko has blue hair and blue eyes. She wears two red clips on the left side of her face. She looks similar to her younger sister, Yuuko Hattori. Being a student, Junko wears a regular school uniform, but she also wears her ninja uniform, which is a long open blue robe, a long blue scarf around her neck.

   Junko is a nice girl who believes strongly in justice. When she heard that Akuto Sai was the new Demon King, she went as far as to try and kill him for the sake of the world. but then on episode 3 when she and all the other students try to kill Akuto Sai, she failed and everyone thought she was joking about killing him then she and Akuto Sai teamed up to take them down and it's also stated that she has feelings for Akuto Sai for example episode 6 when she was in the water with Akuto Sai she asked Akuto why he calls Kena by her 1st name and not her even though they were friends. Plot

   She meets Akuto on the train to the school, and forms a pact with him to make the world a better place. When she discovers that he is destined to become the Demon King, she decides that it is in the best interest of society to destroy him, believing that he knew about his destiny and that he tricked her into becoming friends. She usually misinterprets his attempts at good deeds and intentions as evil wrongdoings. She begins to develop strong feelings for Akuto throughout the series after realizing his intentions, and at one point, didn't mind the thought of being married to him. Her power is mostly based around the sword that she carries with her at all times. According to Kena Soga, Junko is Akuto's best friend, and according to Korone, Junko and Akuto should get married.

   Fujiko Eto (江藤 不二子 / Etō Fujiko) is the current head of the Eto family, the head of the girl's dorms at Constant Academy, and the only person who understands Akuto's current situation. Ironically, her plan to make Akuto her slave backfired on her, causing women to try and seduce her. She is last seen in both the anime and manga being subdued by the girls. Though it appears that she couldn't escape, Fujiko used her black magic to cause an explosion and break the spell on the girls.

   Her older brother, previously next in line to become the Eto family's head, was killed immediately after supposedly failing a mission, causing Fujiko to become the new head of the family. After her brother died Fujiko became the head of the Eto Family and due promised herself she would be strong. Appearance

   She has purple hair and eyes. She also has very large breasts (compared to the other girls) she also has two moles below her eyes her hair goes past her waist. She wears a constant academy uniform with a black cape. Usually, when she thinks about Akuto, she becomes very turned on due to her intense devotion to him. Personality

   She plans to use Akuto's demon powers, once he becomes Demon King, for her own purposes. In spite of her intentions of becoming the Demon Queen for its own sake, she is very attracted to Akuto and realizes she is in love with him, or at least lust, given her sexual actions in the anime.

   Abilites

   Fujiko can use black magic.

   Her magical powers are mostly based around the use of chemicals and potions, which she throws around like grenades.

   She too employments a whip and develops the ability to control some of the demon beasts

   Keena Soga (曽我 けーな Soga Kēna) is one of Akuto's classmates in classroom 1-A who is always seen wearing a strange bird-shaped hairpin, later revealed to be a gift from Sai Akuto when they were both children.

   Keena has red hair with matching eyes and wears the Academy uniform. Personality

   Keena is often quite nonsensical, often acting based on unlikely and bizarre conclusions. For example, she once believed that she was responsible for killing Junko in a magical explosion, despite it originating from Akuto and Junko only being rendered unconscious. She loves rice and keeps a rice cooker even though rice cookers are banned from her dorm, as she believes that everyone would be happy if they ate rice together. She refers to Damiano as "Amore" and has feelings for him. Abilties

   She can make herself invisible to the point of having her own mana cloaked, although this applies only to her body; the hairpin and any other clothes she is wearing remain visible. Aside from near-complete invisibility and flight, Keena is revealed to have developed no other magical powers despite being a highly capable student and being frequently absent from class.    Korone (ころね) is a Liradan (リラダンRiradan), a race of androids sent by the government to observe Akuto Sai 24/7.

   Korone has green hair and dark green eyes. She typically wears the female uniform of the academy with the addition of a light pink handbag with a darker pink strap on her right side, which contains numerous firearms and other items, a sort of hammerspace. She wears white panties with green horizontal stripes that are flashed the most in the series and a rabbit's tail that can be pulled on her lower back, which causes her to deactivate. Personality

   Korone is usually emotionless and stolid, but occasionally curious when it comes to certain things. However, she does display human characteristics on occasion; particularly, she enjoys teasing Akuto, often doing perverted things in front of him to get a response. She sleeps in a small storage closet in Akuto's dorm room, much to Akuto's dismay due to Korone watching him from the closet during their first few days together. Despite her emotionless demeanor, Korone seems to have feelings for Akuto, displaying a visible emotion of sadness when Akuto scolds her after being ordered by the higher-ups to seduce him.

   Korone has the ability to read other people's emotions, and can detect an individual's presence based on mana emitted by that person's body. She, like all Liradans, can be temporarily deactivated by pulling a switch resembling an animal's tail (in her case, a rabbit's) located on her lower back. She will reactivate after the tail is pulled again, and she is otherwise unconscious while she is deactivated.

   Being an android, she is unable to use mana. Instead, she is able to uses weapons and gadgets.

   Cannon: She is usally seen using a large cannon in combat. Radar: She is a able to use a radar to locate/detect an individual's presence based on mana emitted by that person's body.

   Lily Shiraishi (リリィ 白石 Riryi Shiraishi) is the Student Council President of Constant Magic Academy.

   Lily is a petite girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. She is always seen to be wearing a dark, pointed witch's hat with a face on it that appears to react to Lily's current mood. For example, when 2V called Lily a "little kid", the hat's face had a malevolent expression as Lily was growing angry. She wears the normal female uniform of the academy along with a red scarf that falls into three parts that end in yellow, flame-like patterns that extend down to her ankles. She also wears fingerless gloves. Personality

   Lily often has a cool and calm state of mind. She is very strict about following rules and, as the leader of the student council, will, without hesitation, punish almost anyone who defies them. Despite this, she develops feelings for Akuto, and is the first girl to show it. While Lily often prevents the government from acting against Akuto, she has also stated she would kill him if he fulfills his duty as the Demon King and tried to destroy society.

   In the manga, she initially challenges and defeats Akuto and makes him train at her house while the other girls serve as maids. In the anime and in the light novel, however, she is much more kind and caring, only hitting Akuto if she needs to get a point across. In the manga, she is also married to Akuto along with Kena Soga, Junko Hattori, Korone,

   She has the ability to morph her limbs into shapes such as making her arms bigger or making it any shape she wants.

   Hiroshi Miwa (三輪 寛 Miwa Hiroshi) is Akuto's self-described minion much to Akuto's dismay. A boy of small stature, he is frequently and savagely bullied by other students, and sees Akuto as his hero and protector.

   Despite the fact that he is loyal towards Akuto to the point of protecting him from everything, ironically, it was shown that he should be the 'hero' who defeats the demon king in the modern era. After coming close with death fighting to protect his sister, he found 'BRAVE' by accident and became the hero 'BRAVE' defeating many monsters, unbeknownst to everyone.

   Hiroshi's Cheery Personality Hiroshi is a kind, and very loyal friend to Akuto, despite the fact that Akuto quite often scolds him for calling him "Demon King". He is often bullied but keeps a positive attitude, even encouraging Akuto to deal with the bullies who ambushed him after taking him as a hostage. He thinks of Akuto as a brotherly figure, and rarely leaves his side. He feels more confident in himself, and with the power of "BRAVE" tries to stop him from attacking people, not knowing that his actual target was in fact, God.

   BRAVE

   This was a device he came across, thinking it would help him defend the world from the Demon King, he took it and defeated many Demon Beasts using it's power. He isn't shown to have any other abilities in the anime. A superhero suit that by passes magical barriers and gains super speed, flight and strength

   Eiko Teruya (照屋 栄子, Teruya Eiko) is one of the main antagonist at the end of Demon King Diamao. She is the daughter of the head of the Teruya clan. She just transfered to the school but seems to know what Fujiko Eto is up to.

   Eiko Teruya is a 17-year-old teenage girl with Green hair styled in a ponytail with side locks. She wears a constant magic academy uniform. During the Capital War she wore a ninja outfit. Personality

   Eiko Teruya is a perverted and mischievous girl. She has taken a liking to Akuto Sai and clings to him at every opportunity. She also states that she was just going to tease Sai Akuto a little, but now that she knows he is cute, he will be seeing a lot more of her. She is also very clingy as she stated that once she gets attached to something, she can't leave it alone. She has a very voluptuous body and big breasts

   In the specials, it's revealed she still has feelings for Akuto and continues teasing him like normal. Abilities

   Ninjitsu

   As a Ninja Eiko speacilizes in Ninjitsu, her main weapon is a Tantō. Eiko is a master of stealth as she was able hide in a tree and jump on Akuto without him noticing her presence and suprising him in the process. She can jump and leep from high areas.

   Arnoul (アルヌール Arunūru) is the secretary of the Student Council, and is always seen in the company of the other Student Council members.

   Arnoul has straight bluish-green hair that reaches all the way down to her legs with sidelocks that reach her waist. She wears the Constant Magic Academy uniform and wears glasses. Personality

   Arnoul personality is hard to understand. She can only say one word "Guga".

   She usually has a neutral expression. Biography

   In a great number of ways, Arnoul is a spoof on Star Wars robots, specifically from the show Resurrection Princes, where all the nobility seem to have an android servant who speaks with the one word "Guga," which Arnoul does. The only actual sentence she speaks is at the end of the last episode of the anime.

   In the light novel and the manga, it is revealed that she is also a Liradan, and that "Guga" is encrypted speech.
