-- Characters -- Adam is a 14-year old boy who serves as our brave young protagonist. He has brown hair, brown eyes, and a red shirt. His best friend and partner is Damian, is a monstrous quadrupedal beast best described as a demon dog in terms of appearance, often relying on his sharp teeth and claws to brutally dispatch foes, sometimes going so far as to consume their remains afterwards. Despite this he's usually very easygoing, though he can be rather snarky and sarcastic, especially towards his friends, though his loyalty to them is unquestionable and he's always quick to defend them against any perceived threat (he is a dog after all!). He has also been around for thousands of years, serving many masters across the ages, fighting their battles and slaying their enemies, with Adam being one of the few or only to regard him as a friend and partner instead of a pet or subordinate. His experience makes him much more intelligent than he appears but it also gives him a bit of a cynical view on the world, while his partner is more of a wide-eyed idealist, mostly due to his youth.

Lilith (or Lillie) is someone he meets later on, one of (if not the) first other person he's seen with a familiar of their own. She is a 16-year old girl with blonde hair, blue eyes, and a dark blue jacket. She's wiser and more mature than Adam, though tends to very be laidback and carefree, at times even mischievous. Her familiar is Samuel, an anthropomorphic black cat with red eyes, dressed in a nice suit. He was once a skilled and ruthless assassin, but one day he encountered the ghost of Lilith's late mother who begged him to look after her girl, promising to protect and care for her. Since then he's been living with her as her butler and guardian, not out of the goodness of his heart but out of contractual obligation to his agreement (when a demon gives their word, they are bound to it). In combat, he relies on his speed and agility to evade foes while attacking from a distance with his pistol, though he is also skilled in swordfighting should the situation require it, and is able to manifest his weapons as needed. Personality-wise, he is very serious and dignified, though he can be grumpy and irritable (Lilith enjoys teasing him at times, such as affectionately calling him "Sammy", to his ire).

Sir Foxington is a mysterious and powerful demon lord resembling an anthropomorphic fox dressed in aristocratic clothing, including a tight-fitting suit, top hat, and cane. He has crimson fur and emerald eyes, a slender build and almost always has a smug grin spread across his face. Foxington acts very suave and charming but is playful and mischievous; while not necessarily evil, he enjoys messing with people and pushing their buttons, and is usually unconcerned by whatever chaos unfolds around him. His exact origins and motives are unknown, as is the extent of his power, but he's taken an interest in our protagonists and often keeps an eye on their adventures and exploits, occasionally offering advice or assistance, though he prefers letting them figure it out for themselves rather than directly handing them the answer, but he'll step in and safe their skins if needed.

Michael is a minor/recurring character, a demon resembling a short anthropomorphic opossum with bright yellow eyes, about the same height as a human child and dressed in clothing meant to emulate the look and style of wealthy individuals (though it's obviously of very poor make and quality). He is very sleazy and cowardly, being a thief and con artist who occasionally serves as an informant and ally towards the protagonists, but is often regarded as shady and untrustworthy, even relying on them to bail him out of trouble at times. He is also terrified of Foxington, both for his power and due to believing he cannot be trusted.

In addition to the main characters, there are also other individuals with their own familiars and their own goals, as well as different organizations, from governments working to study the demons and deal with the threat they pose to criminals who exploit them for their own gain, along with various spirits and demons each with a unique appearance, abilities, and motivation (usually to take care of unfinished business, such finding their loved ones or getting revenge on their enemies), with most being out for their own gain but some looking to help others.

-- Character Trivia -- Foxington appears to be gay as he's shown a particular interest in men (especially those who are opposed to his advances) but none in women. Damian, meanwhile, appears to be straight as he's only ever shown an interest in attractive human women (including Adam's mother). Samuel is asexual, and so shows zero attraction towards Lilith and is opposed to Foxington's behavior around him.

Foxington is implied to be around 200 years old, having been visiting Earth since the 1800s and recalling events from then til now. Meanwhile Samuel died in the 1950s when he was around 40 years old, making him the youngest of the three demons, while Damien has been around for thousands of years and is at times teasingly referred to as "old man" by Foxington.
