Because of her own failures, Rebecca has always been very strict with Delilah and has put high expectations on her in hopes of guiding her to a better life. However, this strictness and high expectations have ended up backfiring on multiple occasions, as Delilah has had plenty of rebellious streaks throughout her youth.
