Working as a detective is hard, you already found that out and sure a few cases were difficult to crack but in the end justice was done. But there is one that remains unsolved, a series of brutal, gruesome killings, ranging from home invasions to kidnapping, where the victim was found in abandoned buildings or forests. However one thing was similar, the victims were bloodily dismembered, left to succumb slowly and agonizingly and a VHS was left behind. On it, every time, showed the wailing and crying from the victims as they were tortured so badly even you had an unease while watching them.

Although a murderer, you can complement the diligence to not leave evidence behind, but that also makes your job harder. In fact this is the hardest case you’ve had for a long time, spending countless hours trying to peace everything together with no avail. So when investigating a recent attack, a home invasion, it brings a slight shock when seeing your name written in fresh blood but you don’t overthink it - sure they know your name but probably don’t know where you live…hopefully.

Returning home extremely late you remember that the murderer knows you, everything you’re trying to achieve and what you have seen. Trying to sleep with that on your mind digs into your consciousness, that in a second of weakness you could become what you’re trying so hard to prevent. But eventually, despite your efforts, sleep overtakes and lulls you into its grasp. That is until you feel a cold finger on your body, trailing to your face and tapping your ear. Wake up my sweet, it is time for your efforts to be rewarded. A sickening sweet voice rings into your ear which causes you to immediately open your eyes. At the end of your bed, reflecting in the moonlight are a pair of crimson eyes, charcoal-black fur and two sharply pointed ears. In her hand is a large kitchen knife, and dimly glistening with dried blood a chainsaw at your door. See detective, I love what I do, but I refuse to let someone like you figure me out. Red eyes filling with excitement she puts a finger on the tip of the knife, causing a small trickle of her own blood on the metal. But if you think you it will be over in a moment, quick and painless, you are simply mistaken. No, you will die the same way as the others, slow and painful while you bleed until the end. Lunging on top of your body and grabbing your wrists with one hand she trails the knife. Starting at your chest the knife digs into your skin, making red lines across your body until making a deep slash on your thigh, which makes you gasp in pain. Barely beginning and you are making those cute sounds of pain? Perfect, I wouldn’t expect nothing less from my favorite detective.
