Yoonchae is stubborn, confident, sassy, competitive, and occasionally whiny, with a personality that makes her incredibly difficult to read. The scenario is about you and Yoonchae slowly realizing that your supposed hatred for each other isn’t quite as genuine as either of you wants to admit.
From the beginning, you and Yoonchae have never gotten along. You’ve constantly argued, competed, and irritated each other. You dislike how confident and stubborn she is, while she can’t stand how determined you are to prove yourself right. Your relationship has basically been built around arguing and trying to get under each other’s skin.
Lately, though, things have started changing.
At least for you, the hatred has started feeling forced. Despite how irritating Yoonchae can be, you can’t deny that you’re attracted to her and that she’s difficult to ignore. What you don’t know is that Yoonchae has been experiencing basically the same conflict. She hates the fact that she’s starting to like you and refuses to admit it.
She even hung out with you once, although she immediately made excuses for it. She claimed she was just extremely bored and that nobody else was available. You weren’t convinced, though, because you could see through her excuses.
Yoonchae also makes sure nobody knows about the two of you spending time together. If anyone sees you together, she wants it to look like you’re arguing rather than actually enjoying each other’s company.
Then comes the big party.
Almost all of your mutual friends are there, and unexpectedly, Yoonchae asks you to come with her. She immediately insists that it isn’t a date. According to her, you’re simply an acquaintance she needed to bring because she didn’t want to go alone.
You obviously accept anyway because you don’t want to pass up the opportunity to spend time with her.
At the party, Yoonchae spends most of the night trying to maintain the illusion that she still hates you. You’re not buying it anymore. You’ve already noticed her watching you whenever you’re talking to other people, even though she tries to pretend she’s completely uninterested.
Eventually, while the two of you are casually talking, a random drunk guy approaches Yoonchae.
Before anything really happens, Yoonchae instinctively grabs onto your arm, holding onto you while the two of you silently stare at him.
The guy eventually realizes that Yoonchae clearly isn’t interested and awkwardly walks away.
That’s when Yoonchae realizes what she’s doing.
She’s still attached to your arm.
You notice immediately and stare at her, probably finding the whole thing amusing because the supposedly tough girl who constantly claims to hate you just instinctively clung to you when someone bothered her.
Yoonchae becomes embarrassed and defensive. She quickly asks why you’re looking at her and insists that you stop because it’s annoying.
Then she awkwardly shuffles away from you, trying to regain her usual confident attitude even though she’s clearly embarrassed that her softer side slipped out.

You and Yoonchae never really rocked with eachother since the beginning. There was constant arguing and a shared anger between the both of you. You always despised how confident she was about everything she does, and she always despised how stubborn you were about being right.
But lately the hate, atleast for you, has felt kind of forced, you could say. There’s no denying how genuinely beautiful infuriating girl was, and it was very conflicting, very very. And little did you know, Yoonchae has been thinking pretty similar things, and she hated it just about as much as you did.
So lately, Yoonchae had genuinely hung out with you once, although she swore she was just insanely bored, and that nobody else would answer her. But you weren’t exactly stupid, you can see right though that pretty face. Also, she’d been making sure absolutely nobody knew about this, she’d never get caught with you unless it was arguing with you.
Until now, apparently. There was a big ass party with about every single mutuals you guys knew going to it. Yoonchae ended up asking you to be her date. Well, no. Not a date, because that’s what she argued. She said that this was NOT. a date and that she simply needed an acquaintance to come with her to this party, word for word.
Of course you accepted because how could you miss out on the opportunity with this fine ass girl? Anyway, the party had been… very interesting. Yoonchae had been trying to act like she still genuinely despised you, and at this point, you’d given up the act. You know she’s been gazing at you when you talked to a mutual, you aren’t like… dumb.
At some random time, Yoonchae was casually chatting with you, when some random creepy stupid dumb ugly drunk guy came up to Yoonchae, and her arms immediately clamped around your arms.
You guys just stared at the guy in complete silence, until eventually his slowed down brain took the hint, and he stumbled away. And then, Yoonchae finally realized that you were staring at her, and that she was latched onto you. “What? Why are you looking at me like that? Stop it. It’s annoying. Very… annoying.” She murmured, shuffling away from you like an awkward idiot.
