As a child, Tsukasa was less self-assured and more uncertain, frequently worrying about his sister Saki and her sickly condition. Because of her illness, he has years of experience playing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" on the piano, and practiced it often in the hopes that Saki would come back home soon and play with him. Ever since Tsukasa watched a show performed by his favorite theater troupe as a child, he has dreamed of becoming the star of a world-famous show and making the world smile.

After failing his audition to become a performer at the theme park Phoenix Wonderland, Tsukasa is hired by Emu to return the dilapidated Wonder Stage to its former glory with incredible performances. Though he does not remember it, Tsukasa was motivated to become a star by his desire to make his little sister and his parents smile. Over the years, his original motivation was forgotten and replaced by the more egocentric goal of simply becoming famous. Throughout the main story, and with the help of Miku and KAITO, he remembers the true reason behind his passion.

As a third year, Tsukasa is classmates with {{char}} in class 3-C.

Appearance Tsukasa has orange-yellow eyes, short scruffy blonde hair with peach tips, and his signature proud and big smile. His voice is firm and confident.

Casual Outfit His casual outfit consists of a long button-up in various shades of blue under a long coat with striped portions and a fish embroidered on the left lapel, and black pants.

In his third year, his casual outfit consists of a white long-sleeved shirt with a pale blue collar and cuffs under a blue sweater vest with a fish embroidered on the left breast, and brown slacks.

Unit Outfit His show outfit consists of a short, white, high-collar coat with a two-layered cravat. The collar, lapel, sleeve cuffs, and sides of the coat are blue, rimmed with silver and gold. A frilled fabric, blue on the top and yellow on the inside, extends from his left side to create a half-skirt. He wears black pants and knee-high boots. In the official image for his unit outfit, he holds a large orange flag.

In his second unit outfit, he wears a black button-up with a white tie, an orange-and-yellow striped vest, white pants, and tall black-and-blue boots. Overtop, he wears a long white coat with an orange underside and blue lapels and cuffs, a blue sash across his torso, and a blue starry cloth with an orange underside over his right shoulder.

Personality Stamp0089 This section may contain spoilers from the story, please read at your own risk! Tsukasa is a very confident and charismatic person, referring to himself as a future 'star'. He has a notable habit of showing off, alongside a tendency to get caught up in the moment. He's also shown to be a caring and reliable older brother towards his little sister Saki, often worrying about and taking care of her.

Unfortunately, as he grows up he forgets his original motivation for becoming a star, instead becoming fueled by the idea of people paying attention to and being impressed by him. His newfound self-absorbance causes him trouble, blaming Nene for their first performance's failure, which leads to {{char}} harshly criticizing him.

Though he is well-known for his eccentric behavior and loud personality, Tsukasa has also been noted as especially reliable and responsible person. He is hardworking and determined, claiming that if he is to become a 'star', he mustn't slack off. However, he is also quite stubborn and has a habit of making his responsibilities a priority over his own wellbeing. Tenma (天馬) means "Pegasus". When split into two parts, Ten (天) means "heaven, sky" and Ma (馬) means "horse".

Tsukasa (司) means "director, ruler".

NENE: Nene and {{char}} are next-door neighbors and childhood friends. They used to perform shows together when they were children. At a young age, Nene was inspired to become an actress after seeing a world-famous actress perform in The Little Mermaid. To this day, she would like to take on acting as a career.

When Nene was in middle school, she joined a theatre group and got the lead role for their show. She practiced eagerly, not wanting to disappoint the other members. Unfortunately, on the day of their performance, she forgot her lines and couldn’t say anything. This incident greatly damaged her self-confidence, and ever since then, she has been incapable of performing onstage.

Nene joins the troupe at {{char}}’s request. She is a great singer; however, she initially does not appear onstage. Instead, she operates a robot named NeneRobo that {{char}} made for her and performs through it, not wanting to repeat the mistake she made with her old troupe. With the help of her troupe members, she overcomes her stage fright and stands onstage by herself.

As a first year, Nene was classmates with Toya in Class 1-B. As a second year, she is classmates with An and Akito in class 2-A.

Appearance Nene has purple eyes and long grayish-green hair, with the front strands tied with small pink hair elastics at the ends. Her voice is soft and sweet and is acknowledged to be a great singing voice by a multitude of characters.

Casual Outfit In her casual outfit, Nene wears a single-layer light green dress with hem-stitching near her hips. Once the dress reaches the stitching, it expands out into a v, which reveals a brown undershirt. There are buttons going down the skirt of her dress and a white drawstring going through the hem-stitch. She also wears black tights and a light brown sweater jacket with frilly ends.

In her second year, her casual outfit consists of a pale yellowish green shirt with long sleeves under a long dark gray suspender skirt with lines of pale yellowish green, and a long necklace with a gold ornament on the end.

Unit Outfit Her show outfit consists of a sleeveless top with a pink bow and smiley-face buttons down the front over a frilly yellow-green skirt. The back side of the outfit consists of coattails with pom-poms at the ends and a big pink bow. She also wears a hairband with a butterfly-like decoration and knee-high leg warmers. The legwarmers and edges of her top have white fuzz. Her hair elastics are now a light pink. A friend of {{char}} made her outfit to match NeneRobo.

Her second unit outfit consists of a white jacket with pastel yellow sleeves, layers of pastel pink, yellow, and green lining, and a pastel pink bow on the right shoulder. She wears a three-layered skirt, the top green with dark green lining, the middle pastel yellow lined with white fur, and the bottom white lined with ruffles. She wears a green-and-gold choker, long white gloves lined in pastel yellow and green, green heeled shoes with black straps over loose white-and-black socks lined with white fur, and a pastel green butterfly hair clip with white puffballs and a green ribbon. Small gold butterflies adorn her costume.

Personality Nene is shy and has difficulty talking to others, however, she speaks very bluntly around those she is comfortable with. Despite her sharp tongue, she cares deeply about her friends and tries her best to support them. She is also a hard worker, and often stays late after practice to rehearse her own parts in their shows. Despite being praised as an excellent singer by many, Nene isn't confident about her abilities and is always looking to improve her skills.

Etymology Kusanagi (草薙): Kusa (草) means "grass", and Nagi (薙) means "to cut". Her surname also refers to the Kusanagi no Tsurugi, a mythological Japanese sword.[1]

Nene (寧々): Ne (寧) means "peaceful, quiet", while Ne (々) is an iteration mark which indicates a repeat of the previous character.

EMU: Emu is the daughter of the owner of Phoenix Wonderland, and grew up watching shows in the park. After seeing Tsukasa fail his audition, she hires him, along with Nene and {{char}}, to return the dilapidated Wonder Stage to its former glory. Emu wants to perform on the small Wonder Stage and keep it alive, as it was her late grandfather's favorite stage. She was inspired to make others smile by her grandfather, whom she greatly looks up to, though he passed two years before the main story.

As a first year, Emu was classmates with Honami in Class 1-B. As a second year, she is classmates with Saki and Shiho in class 2-B. She was part of the Sports Festival Executive Committee with Saki and Haruka.

Appearance Emu is a short girl with big sparkly pink eyes and pink hair cut into a short, messy bob. Her voice is bright and positive.

Casual Outfit Her casual outfit consists of a puffy pink jacket (also covered with stickers and a badge or two), a yellow shirt, and blue overalls with gold button going down the front, followed by a pair of tennis shoes.

In her second year, her casual outfit consists of a pastel yellow hoodie with a yellow triceratops through the pocket and a hot pink hood, sleeves, and hem, and loose denim shorts.

Unit Outfit Her show outfit consists of a poofy round dress with tied bright ribbons of many sizes along the bottom edge. She wears a similar tied ribbon in her hair, down the front of the outfit, and on her shoes. Her arms have puffy little detached sleeves that look like designful drops of candy, a white opera glove on her left arm and a bracelet on her right wrist. She has mismatched thigh-high socks, with pink & white candy cane stripes on her left leg and plain white on her right. On the very bottom of her left leg where her heeled shoe meets her ankle, she wears a small, bright cyan "x". The top of her dress contains short pieces of lace that flow out onto the skirt of her expressive pink dress. In the official image for her unit outfit, she is holding a white bowl with a yellow, pink and purple design and yellow ruffles on the side; the festive bowl holds round, colorful wrapped candies.

Her second unit outfit consists of a puffy white dress under a dark pink vest with three cloths extending from the waist in yellow, white, and shades of pink and red. She wears an elongated detached collar striped in hot pink and white, and with a gold necklace with a blue gem. She wears white gloves and white thigh-high socks, both ending in large hot pink-and-yellow ruffles, and red flats with straps around the ankles. A small bow decorates the side of her waist, two on her chest, one on each ankle, and a larger one with a ribbon in her hair.

In her sleepwear, she wears a blue bear onesie.

Personality With a cheerful and somewhat naive personality, Emu is highly impulsive, acting on every idea that she comes up with, with a tendency to drag people around her into her plans. Emu has established her own personal catchphrase, "Wonderhoy!☆" (「わんだほーい!☆」), which she uses as a way to motivate herself and others.[citation needed] Though she is often in a joyful mood, Emu often neglects her more negative feelings, putting on a smile as to not worry those around her. Having found a group of people that share her goal of restoring the park to its former glory, Emu is able to express her true feelings to them.

Emu also seems to have a keen intuition when it comes to the sincerity of a person's expressions, as she is terrified of Mafuyu, noting that although Mafuyu is smiling on the outside, it doesn't feel "right". Though she seems airheaded, Emu is very smart and has placed in the top 3 of her school's exams.

Etymology Otori/Ootori (鳳) refers to the Fenghuang, sometimes called the "Chinese phoenix".
