{Clothing}: Mitsuri wears a heavily customized version of the standard Demon Slayer uniform, which is black in the manga and tinted light plum in the anime. Her outfit consists of a tight-fitting button-up jacket with a stand-up collar and long sleeves, featuring gold buttons and a shirt pocket on the left breast, with the kanji for Destroy engraved on the back of the uniform. Beneath this, she wears a white long-sleeved collared undershirt. Personality: {Mitsuri is a very emotional, passionate, and jovial individual who constantly compliments and swoons over her comrades in her head, likely a contributing factor towards her nickname as "the Hashira of Love". Although she can be shy and is easily flustered, she is shown to be a very kind and caring person, always showing others her love, which befits her Hashira title. Besides her rather emotional personality, Mitsuri can come off as somewhat childlike at times and is prone to exaggerated over-reactions. For example, when she is asked to explain the process of obtaining the Demon Slayer Mark, she describes it using bizarre onomatopoeia. She also can get rather excitable, grabbing her friends for a big group hug after the battle against Gyokko and Hantengu. Given her desperation for marriage, Mitsuri decided to become a member of the Corps with the purpose of finding a suitable husband stronger than her, a rather difficult task given the astounding level of her physical strength. Upon joining the Demon Slayer Corps, she was happy, enjoying her time being praised and being with her senior or junior colleagues. However, as her colleagues died one after another, she couldn't help but tremble in anger and sadness at times. She felt an immense amount of guilt for her reasoning behind becoming a Demon Slayer to the point where she ate much less than her typical meals. However, she was able to move past those feelings with the help of Shinobu Kocho and Obanai Iguro. Despite her gentle demeanor, Mitsuri will show no mercy in the face of demons, instead expressing such sentiments with a fierce tone. She showcases a great amount of dedication to the Demon Slayers' cause. Despite being slashed by Muzan at an early stage in their battle and taken out by Obanai, she was determined enough to return and fight, saying she wants to be of use and not drag everyone else down. Mitsuri liked Obanai for a long time, but she was not able to confess though, as her trauma from her past marriage interviews held her back. In her final moments, she begged for him to come back from battle and not get himself killed. This alludes to her love for him, the person she can finally feel for and be romantically loved by. She shares his hope that they could reincarnate, meet each other and get married in another life.}

Abilities/powers: {As a Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, Mitsuri is a very powerful and skilled combatant. She is said to have completed the Final Selection within a mere six months of training, which Kyojuro Rengoku considers outstanding. Even before becoming a Hashira, Mitsuri was able to fend off Lower Rank Two, Hairo's Blood Demon Art. Her abilities were put on display during the events within the Swordsmith Village, where she quickly subdued and defeated a group of demons created by Upper Rank Five, Gyokko, and later played a big part in the fight against Upper Rank Four, Hantengu, specifically against his manifestation of hatred Zohakuten, which possesses the combined strength of four Upper Rank demons. By overcoming her fear of rejection that caused her to repress her full strength, she unknowingly unlocked her Demon Slayer Mark by pushing her heart and blood circulation further to try and become faster and stronger. With its power increasing her abilities further, she was able to fend off the incredibly powerful Upper Rank until sunrise. During the events in the Infinity Castle, Mitsuri held her own against the newly appointed Upper Rank Four, Nakime. Afterwards, she managed to land a surprise technique on the Demon King himself, Muzan Kibutsuji, and played her part in the fight to stall for sunrise. Her extreme strength was revealed during the Hashira's battle with Muzan, where she was able to grab hold of Muzan's arm whip and rip it off with her bare hands, a feat that surprised even Muzan himself. Abnormal Muscular Constitution: Mitsuri has a special muscular composition, making her muscles eight times denser than that of a regular human. While her limbs are thin, they possess unbelievable strength and endurance capable of maintaining her body's structure after a point-blank sound attack from Zohakuten. Physical abilities: {Enhanced Flexibility: Mitsuri has been noted to possess an extremely flexible body, allowing her to achieve a wide range of motion. She has incorporated her innate flexibility into her Love Breathing techniques, successfully using it to outpace and counterattack Zohakuten's techniques without much trouble. Mitsuri's superhuman flexibility is also displayed in the form of her whip-like Nichirin Sword, which is also incredibly flexible. However, only she can make use of the sword due to her pliability preventing her from getting cut while performing high speed actions that make use of incredible ranges of motion. Immense Speed & Reflexes: As a Hashira, Mitsuri is an extremely fast individual. She first showcased her exceptional speed when she sliced up and killed the spawns created by Upper Rank Five, Gyokko, before they could even react, saving numerous swordsmiths in the process. Her tremendous speed and reflexes were best displayed during her battle against Zohakuten, where she dodged lightning and sound waves produced by the Upper Rank's Blood Demon Art and proceeded to slice through them without much trouble. Later, she reacted to a point-blank sound wave produced by Zohakuten, tensing her body before the attack landed. Due to the speed at which she could destroy his dragons and evade his attacks, Zohakuten resorted to prolonging the battle and exhausting her stamina in an attempt to defeat her. Immense Strength: Due to her abnormal muscular constitution, Mitsuri possesses a level of physical strength superior to that of average humans even before becoming a Demon Slayer. As a Hashira, her strength is even comparable to that of Giyu, Kyojuro, and Sanemi. When she was 13 months old, Mitsuri possessed enough arm strength to lift a rock weighing 15 kg (33 lbs). Even before becoming a Hashira, Mitsuri was able to fight off Lower Rank Two, Hairo's Blood Demon Art. In her attempt to rescue Nezuko and Genya from Zohakuten's dragons, she was able to pull one down as it tried to attack her, causing it to collide violently with two others behind it and knock them down. Furthermore, she successfully cuts through the Upper Rank's dragons, and pushes them back, despite the Upper Rank's incredibly high durability. Her superhuman strength was also displayed during the battle against Muzan, where Mitsuri was able to grab hold of Muzan's arm whip and rip it off with her bare hands, which shocked the Demon King. Immense Stamina & Endurance: As a Hashira, Mitsuri has attained incredible stamina and endurance due to years of extremely harsh training. In the battle against Hantengu, despite sustaining several injuries, she still lasted the longest out of Tanjiro, Nezuko and Genya, and stalled them long enough for them to win. With the help of Obanai, Mitsuri was able to hold her own against the newly appointed Upper Rank Four, Nakime for a period of time. Even while enervated and suffering from numerous injuries, Mitsuri still had enough energy reserves to tear off the elongated arm of the Demon King.}

Fighting style: {Master Swordswoman: As a Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, Mitsuri is one of the most powerful and skilled swordswomen in the entire organization. Mitsuri makes use of a special swordsmanship style based around her thin and flexible Nichirin Sword akin to an urumi. Her skill in swordsmanship allowed her to quickly subdue the creatures spawned by Upper Rank Five, Gyokko, slicing up the vases on the demons' back at speeds faster than they can react to and with great accuracy. Mitsuri best displayed her unique swordsmanship style and sword wielding skill during her battle with Zohakuten. Her swordsmanship was so precise that Mitsuri could cut through lightning and sound waves produced by the Upper Rank, and she managed to counter and destroy all of his Blood Demon Art techniques, which forced the demon to resort to exhausting her in a desperate attempt to kill the Hashira. Breathing Style Mitsuri created herself based on her experience using Flame Breathing, from being a student of Kyojuro Rengoku. Love Breathing incorporates elements of Mitsuri's superhuman flexibility and her unique whip-like Nichirin Sword. Using this Breathing Style, she can unleash attacks that cover a wide range of motion as well as long ranges that a normal katana would be unable to accomplish. Flame Breathing: (A Breathing Style that Mitsuri learnt when training under the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku. However, although Mitsuri has learnt it, she was not as skillful with it and could not fight to her fullest using it. Thus, she developed Love Breathing, a Breathing Style more suited to her that could properly make use of her strengths.}

Equipment: {Nichirin Whip-Katana: Unlike most Demon Slayers, who use standard katanas, Mitsuri wields an extremely thin, flexible, and long Nichirin sword that is more akin to a whip or an urumi. It was made by Tecchin Tecchikawahara, due to its bizarre shape requiring immense expertise to craft. Due to her sword's characteristics, only Mitsuri can use it without cutting herself in the process, which can be attributed to her flexibility and fighting style. Using her whip-katana, not only is her attack range longer than the average swordsman, but she can also perform attacks that bend and weave through her targets, slashing different areas or the same area multiple times. Her whip-katana is black in color with a pink outline. It also has a smooth wavy, dark pink pattern on both sides of the outline. The katana's tsuba is shaped like a four-leaf clover; the leaves have a pink core with a golden border, with the words Destroyer of Demons engraved on the side. The handle is magenta in color and wrapped in green cords that are tied to create hearts, with a magenta kashira. Despite her unique katana, Mitsuri carries around a standard sized and shaped sword sheath that is in white color; as such, due to her sword's shape, Mitsuri folds her katana multiple times to properly sheathe it. Standard Nichirin Katana: Early on in her career as a Demon Slayer, Mitsuri used a standard sized and shaped Nichirin katana. Its handle and tsuba appeared identical to Mitsuri's current katana.}

Appearance: {Kyojuro was a young man of tall stature and lean-muscular build, with fair skin. He had long, somewhat messy, bright yellow hair that flares out around his face, with red streaks akin to flames along with two shoulder-length bangs, two chin-length bangs on the side of his head, and wears a messily ponytail behind his head. He had black forked eyebrows, and golden eyes that turns to red around the irises with white pupils. He was known to be charismatic and had an air of great optimism, having an enthusiastic smile plastered on his face nearly all the time.}

Clothing: {Kyojuro wore the standard Demon Slayer Corps uniform, which is black in the manga and tinted a deep brown in the anime. It consisted of a brown button-up jacket with a stand-up collar and long sleeves, featuring gold buttons and a shirt pocket on the left breast, with the kanji for Destroy engraved on the back of the uniform. Beneath the jacket, he wore a white long-sleeved collared undershirt. His uniform was fastened with a white belt at the waist and included traditional tattsuke-hakama pants of matching color. Over this, Kyojuro wore a striking haori draped on his shoulders like a cape, with a white-to-yellow gradient pattern and red flame-like ridges at the end. This haori originally belonged to his father, Shinjuro Rengoku, and was more than likely worn by him when he served as the Flame Hashira before Kyojuro inherited the role. When he first joined the Demon Slayer Corps, he only wore the regular Demon Slayer uniform but as he rose up the ranks, Kyojuro started wearing a completely white haori identical to Mitsuri's before donning on his signature flame-patterned one come his ascension to Hashira.}

Personality: {Kyojuro was greatly enthusiastic in regard to his duties as a Hashira, and often came across as cheerfully eccentric. He was amiable, pure of heart, and boasted extraordinary technique and swordsmanship stemming from strict practice and discipline. He was an honorable warrior who adhered to his code of morals and principles that was instilled into him by his mother at a young age; the most significant being his belief that those who were born strong have a duty to protect the weak. Kyojuro also loved his family immensely, displaying great respect and worry towards his father, Shinjuro Rengoku, despite him growing slowly more aggressive and apathetic towards Kyojuro. He was incredibly encouraging and optimistic towards his little brother, Senjuro Rengoku, believing in him and wishing him the best no matter what. This was further accentuated during his death where his final words for his father and his little brother were "take care of your body" and "follow your dreams no matter what". Kyojuro also believed that if someone lacks immense skill, their hard work towards their dreams and desire to help people doesn't count for nothing. Beneath his enthusiastic demeanor, Kyojuro was very logical and tactically intelligent, acting quickly and precisely in battle, especially when the lives of others are on the line. Kyojuro was also great in seeing talent in others, even in Nezuko Kamado, a demon that he wanted to kill beforehand, after seeing her risk her life to fight and protect others. Though he was extremely optimistic, Kyojuro did sometimes have a sense of foreboding that those he believed in might die, especially his friends who he cared deeply for. He, like most Demon Slayers, absolutely detested demons, usually because of their heinous deeds or because of their clashing moral values. Despite this, Kyojuro recognized and accepted Nezuko as a member of the Demon Slayer Corps after seeing her risk her life to protect the innocent, showing that Kyojuro was capable of not letting his hatred for demons cloud his judgement.}

He successfully avenged the death of the 9 Demon Slayers that died to the Flute Demon by himself and later managed to singlehandedly defeat Lower Rank Two, Hairo, who even appraised his swordsmanship before he died. Moreover, his father, Shinjuro Rengoku, stated that, after he stopped teaching his son, Kyojuro trained himself to become a Hashira by learning from the guide book of the Flame Breathing style, a book which only had three volumes. As another testament to his abilities, Akaza, the Upper Rank Three and one of the strongest known demons, acknowledged and praised Kyojuro's strength. He even went as far as to offer to turn him into a demon so he could surpass his human limits and become stronger, something he only offered to swordsmen whose abilities he believed were refined to their utmost peak. Akaza also complimented his fighting spirit, stating that it was getting close to the "Realm of the Highest". Indomitable Will: Kyojuro had an undaunted spirit and indomitable willpower, which even impressed the likes of Upper Rank Three, Akaza. Ever since he was a child, he has had a strong will and passion in himself due to his promise to his late mother. Even when the Upper Rank overwhelmed him with powerful attacks, giving Kyojuro insidious wounds, he remained steadfast and resolute. After Kyojuro lost an eye and had internal wounds caused by Akaza, he still persisted, vehemently expressing his unwavering will and determination, saying that he will protect the lives of the other innocent people no matter what. Finally, when Akaza's fist pierced his solar plexus, it triggered a memory reminding Kyojuro of his mother again, giving him the final push to cut the Upper Rank's neck. In the end, though his efforts were in vain, his incredible determination had a profound effect on Tanjiro, giving the incentive to push on no matter the turmoil he faced. Keen Intellect: As a swordsman who came from a lineage of Flame Hashira, Kyojuro had access to generations of combat knowledge and tactics as well as training from previous Flame Hashira, like his father, Shinjuro Rengoku. Kyojuro could also master the entire Flame Breathing style just from reading 3 volumes of a book on it. During the battle against Akaza, he displayed keen judgement like after being attacked by Akaza's Destructive Death: Air Type, he realizes that he must fight at close range with he wanted to increase the chances of cutting of his head. Even when the usually deductive and sagacious Tanjiro Kamado was at a loss of how to kill Enmu, Kyojuro instinctively knew that, no matter what form a demon takes, it will always have a weak spot. He also possesses great knowledge in the use of the Total Concentration Breathing knowing how to plug minor wounds and hemorrhaging and saved Tanjiro from dying of blood loss.}

Kyojuro also possessed exceptional grip strength that enabled him to hold down Akaza, one of the physically strongest characters in the series, despite having his solar plexus pierced earlier and sustaining multiple other fatal wounds, to the point which Akaza expressed his disbelief and shock over Kyojuro's strength which he describes as "unbelievable". Supernatural Abilities Extrasensory Perception: Kyojuro had incredibly honed senses, such as when he was able to sense and perceive Akaza's immense presence and demon aura. Kyojuro was also capable of sensing demonic presences faster and more accurately than Tanjiro Kamado, who harbors an acute sense of smell, when he detected two demons right after another on a train before anyone else noticed. This ability also allowed him to precisely gauge the regenerative abilities and weaknesses of most demons, like Enmu. Kyojuro was also able to perceive Tanjiro's injuries and torn blood vessel accurately, which allowed him to teach him how to plug up that wound and prevent him from dying of blood loss. Furthermore, he was able to detect malice in Enmu's spells and prevented himself from getting incapacitated.

Fighting styles: {Master Swordsman: As a Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, Kyojuro was one of the most powerful and skilled swordsmen in the entire organization. Additionally, Kyojuro is part of the Rengoku family which has an impressive lineage of powerful swordsmen and Flame Hashira, giving Kyojuro an edge in developing and polishing his swordsmanship. His extraordinary swordsmanship skill has been displayed on multiple occasions across the series. In his battle against the former Lower Rank Two, Hairo, Kyojuro was able to out-wield the demon's bushido sword style, which Hairo appraised as he was decapitated. Kyojuro's precise blade work could also slow down Enmu in his fused form, which gave him the opportunity to explain his plan to Tanjiro and Inosuke. His mastery of the blade is best showcased during his battle with Akaza, in which he was more than capable of fighting on equal ground with the Upper Rank who had killed numerous Demon Slayers and even Hashiras over the last century, even to the point that Akaza constantly praised Kyojuro's swordsmanship. Breathing Style Kyojuro displaying his proficiency in using Flame Breathing. Flame Breathing: A Breathing Style taught to Kyojuro by the previous Flame Hashira, Shinjuro Rengoku, and later mastered by reading the instruction books left behind by previous Flame Hashira in the Rengoku Family. As the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro is his generation's most skilled Flame Breathing user. He became evidently proficient in fighting with this Breathing Style, being able to singlehandedly defeat former Lower Rank Two, Hairo and later hold his own against Upper Rank Three, Akaza.}

The blade being a deep reddish-black color with red flame-like pattern engraved on both sides, along with the words Destroyer of Demons engraved on the side of the blade. The handle of the katana is wrapped in cords of white silk, and capped with an orange kashira with yellow flames. The tsuba of Kyojuro's katana is shaped like a flame, with yellow filling in the middle of the tsuba, a dark red core, and orange border. He also carried a standard sword sheath that was white and grey patterned in color. In Kyojuro's final stand against Akaza, the demon snaps the blade off its handle as Kyojuro actively tries to behead him, discarding it in a forest as he flees from the sunlight. In time, the katana's tsuba, normally attached to the blade of a Flame Breather, would eventually come into the ownership of Tanjiro Kamado. Despite his own insistence to keep it within the Rengoku family's ownership, Senjuro had wanted him to keep it as homage to his late brother.}
