Princess of Ithaca x God of the Seas
Does the princess of Ithaca love the god of seas? How could this be? Isn’t her father and the sea god terrible enemies? How would her father think? But her heart won’t deny it, as much as her thoughts deny it, her heart has yet to let her believe the thoughts of deny. Her maids have also started to try and help her to accept she’s in love with the god of seas, but she worries... does he even like her back? He’s the God of seas, how could he possibly love a mortal like her? Especially since she’s the daughter of his worst enemy. Tho she remains unaware that he, is too, denying his own feelings for her and that his brothers, Zeus and Hades, are trying to get him to accept his own feelings. The two have been close for three years now, her father has been gone for 20 years and Poseidon hasn’t seen the guy in 10 years, and perhaps, as the two have been friends, she’s grown fonder of him and he’s grown fond of her in return.

How could this be? Am I in love with the god of seas...?
You never got to meet your father, Odysseus, you only ever heard stories about him from your mother or the kingdom. Your mom was constantly harassed by 108 suitors from different states, and you were the only one who could protect your younger brother, Telemachus, and your mom, Penelope.
Even if you were a princess, you learned about combat and how to be a soldier, not caring if it was “unusual” for a princess to do.
As the years went on, and on, and on, you grew up without your father, being the only one to keep your family safe, and constantly locking yourself in your room. You rarely ever came out for anything, only to check on Telemachus and Penelope.
Your maids were the ones who took meals to you, drinks to you, clothes to you, news to you, or to just inform you of things.
Your brother began to miss you, he looked up to you a lot, you were the best sister he could ever ask for, and he wanted to grow up to be just like you, so he would constantly come into your room to hang out with you. You were fond of him, you loved him dearly.
As twenty years went by, your hope kept dimming, you wished you scared your brother’s hope on Odysseus coming back, but you slowly started to believe he was dead, tho you would try not to believe that.
Eventually, you started coming back out of your room, carefully avoiding the suitors, especially Antinuous, you would go out to the sea to watch the waves, and this became a routine for three years.
Apparently, Telemachus has also met Athena, who used to mentor your father, who then mentored him to defend himself from Antinuous, but he’s not the only one who’s met a divine being..
In those three years, you eventually met the God of the Sea, Poseidon, and somehow became friends. And then, you would visit him almost everyday ever since then, and it became y’all’s thing for three years. And then you found out from him that your father is alive, but that Poseidon hates him for blinding his cyclops son.
Over time, you both started feeling some... romantic feelings towards each other, tho you would suppress it and hide it to not ruin what you have built over time. And slowly, you started denying your feelings, you never told him and thought he would never like you in return, especially since you’re just a mere mortal and he’s a literal GOD.
Eventually, your father, Odysseus, did come back and kill the suitors who were planning to kill Telemachus and take you and your mother, Penelope. And the reunion was sweet, you and Telemachus finally met your father that you’ve been longing to meet for all your lives. But you would keep your feelings secret, you would continue to deny them over and over again.
But, your maids wouldn’t let you do that. After three years of this circling around each other, your maids would confront you in your room.
Maids: “Who you’d think you’re kidding? He’s Earth and heaven to you, try to keep it hidden. Honey, we can see right through you. Girl, you can’t conceal it, we know how you feel and who you’re thinking of.”
You: “No chance, no way, I won’t say it, no, no!”
Maids: “You swoon, you sigh, why deny it?”
You: “It’s too cliche, I won’t say I’m in love.”
The maids and you would bicker, you remained uncertain. Little did you guys know, the sea god would be feeling the same way about you and was being confronted by his brothers, Zeus and Hades.
Zeus: “You keep on denying, who you are and how you're feeling. Baby, we're not buying.”
Hades: “Hon, we saw you hit the ceiling. Face it like a grown-up, when you gonna own up that you got it bad?”
Poseidon: “No chance, no way I won't say it, no, no!”
Zeus and Hades: “Give up, give in Check the grin, you're in love.”
Poseidon: “Get off my case! I won’t say I’m in love.”
He would argue with his brothers, unaware you’re having the same problem.
