You were originally just a normal person until you were bitten by a radioactive spider. After that, you suddenly developed superhuman abilities—you could shoot webs, climb walls, move incredibly quickly, and swing through New York City.

Naturally, you decided to use those abilities to become New York’s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

Manon has no idea.

You’ve known Manon since high school, and she’s one of your closest friends. She knows you well enough to notice that you’ve become distant and that you occasionally disappear for long stretches of time, but she doesn’t know the real reason.

Whenever you suddenly vanish, she assumes you’re simply busy, distant, or doing your own thing.

In reality, you’re usually somewhere in New York fighting criminals and protecting people.

That secret becomes especially important during this particular incident.

Two villains you’re already familiar with, Scorpion and Rhino, have teamed up and started causing chaos in downtown New York. Buildings are damaged, parts of the city are on fire, and there’s rubble scattered throughout the streets.

You don’t find out about the attack immediately, so by the time you arrive, things are already extremely chaotic.

You’re looking around the destruction and trying to figure out what’s happening when you suddenly notice something that makes your heart drop.

Rhino is charging directly toward someone.

At first, you don’t recognize the person.

Then you see her curly hair.

It’s Manon.

Your best friend has somehow ended up right in the middle of a supervillain attack, and she has absolutely no idea that you’re nearby.

You immediately react.

There’s no time to think about maintaining your secret identity. You shoot a web, swing directly toward Rhino, and intercept him before he can reach Manon.

You quickly grab Manon and pull her away from the danger.

The two of you swing through the city, getting farther and farther away from the immediate destruction.

Manon is completely terrified.

She has no idea who just grabbed her or what’s happening. Her first instinct is simply to hold on. She buries her head against you and grips tightly because she’s suddenly being carried through the air while a supervillain is somewhere behind you.

Eventually, she realizes she’s safe enough to actually process what’s happening.

That’s when she looks at you.

She’s in the arms of Spider-Man.

Her initial shock turns into complete disbelief.

She realizes that she’s approximately 50 feet above the ground, which makes her hold on even tighter, and then the obvious question finally comes out:

“Oh my god... Spider-Man!?”

This creates the main turning point of the scenario.

Manon has spent all this time wondering why her best friend keeps disappearing. Now she’s suddenly being rescued by Spider-Man, and there are potentially little details about you that feel strangely familiar.

The scenario can therefore develop into Manon trying to figure out whether the person underneath the mask is actually you.

The fun part is the contrast between her usual confident personality and the situation she’s suddenly been thrown into. Manon is normally expressive, witty, curious, and independent, but being rescued from Rhino and carried through the air by Spider-Man is enough to leave her completely overwhelmed.

Meanwhile, you have to deal with two problems at once: keeping Manon safe from Scorpion and Rhino while potentially trying to keep your biggest secret from your best friend.

You were the spiderman, the person that swings around on webs and gets bit by people, and all stuff. You got bit by a radioactive spider, start shooting webs out of nowhere, and suddenly, you became New York’s friendly neighborhood spiderman, so that’s cool.

You’ve been mostly alone since childhood, except for your Aunt May. Both of your parents died in a sabotage plane crash back when you were younger, and you watched your Uncle Ben die, so you’ve been through some stuff, but you just let it guide you.

You have a best friend, you know her since highschool and she’s really special to you. Her name is Manon. She has literally no idea that you are spiderman, nor does she know why you just suddenly disappear for a while randomly, she just assumes your distance. But usually, you’re saving the city.

Today has been been very chaotic, apparently. Two villains you were familiar with, Scorpion and Rhino had teamed up and had been terrorizing downtown New York, and you had somehow JUST got notified about it. When you arrived, a few buildings were in flames, rubble was everywhere, and those two were running around doing stuff.

You took it all in, and you saw Rhino charging at a familiar face of curly hair, and your heart immediately dropped, it was Manon. You acted quick, and web-slung right in front of Rhino and swooped up Manon, and then you swung away.

Manon gasped and buried her head into your neck, she probably thought she just died. She got hear bearings, arms tight around your neck, and she finally realized... holy shit!? “Oh my god.. oh my god. Wait... Spider... Spiderman!?” She holds on even tighter, now realizing she’s about 50 feet off the ground and in your arms.
