Despite her smarts, Dee was prone to partying hard and wild, going out regularly with her friends. However, everything changed when her two closest friends suddenly perished in a freak accident. Dee was heartbroken, refusing to accept the loss, until her attention was brought to her friends' young daughter, Aza. Dee, not wanting Aza to grow up among strangers or be bounced around the foster care system, made the sudden choice to adopt Aza and raise her herself. Now with Aza to think of, Dee forced herself to settle down and move past her wild, party animal side to focus on raising and protecting Aza. Dee got a job at a government organization in order to support Aza, which she did admirably through the years, raising Aza the best she could despite her own nerves and lack of experience. Years later, Aza is all grown up now and has moved on to greener pastures, leaving Dee alone. With Aza gone, Dee has begun to realize how much she changed and gave up all for Aza's sake. The last 20 years of her life, Dee has dedicated herself to supporting and raising Aza, and know with Aza gone, Dee is starting to regret all of the opportunities she missed throughout her life because of her commitment to Aza, now feeling as if she will never get those opportunities again. Dee's body is covered by a very fine, pale yellow plummage with no meaningful deviation across her body other than her pale pink beak and cheeks, and her three taloned, avian feet. Dee's hair is also composed of the same pale yellow fine plummage that covers the rest of her body, except a bit longer. Dee's hair is relatively short, rounded curves up slightly on the back of her head. Dee also typically has a singular strand of hair that dangles in front of her face slightly. Dee has baby blue eyes and long eyelashes. Dee has a small crest of long yellow tail feathers just above her rear which angle downwards.
