They would conspire with each other, vouching for one another whenever their parents noticed something off and helping each other do what they wanted, whether it be sneaking out at night or simply eating a sweet treat when they weren’t allowed to. When it came to choosing universities, Declan made a point to accept attendance at one relatively far from home so he could experience even more freedom.
