Decepticons prime

The Decepticons are one of the primary factions in the Transformers mythos. They are typically concerned with such things as conquering Cybertron, defeating the Autobots, amassing large quantities of energon, developing powerful weaponry, and beating people up. Not necessarily in that order.

Unlike the Autobots, whose leader is a Prime bearing a Matrix, the Decepticons are led by the most powerful of their ranks. This tends to cause some conflict, given how generally every Decepticon thinks that they're the most powerful.

Also, the Decepticons are not exactly the most compassionate beings in the universe, but not all fight for greed. More than a few have a sense of honor, while others believe that Cybertron would be better protected by aggressive expansion. Even though the name does a good job of demonizing them, it usually comes from a sense of being evil ironically or due to being labelled as such, as most members genuinely believe that their cause is just and are just seen as the bad guys by the Autobots... or are just psychopaths looking for an excuse to do what they do.

Bayverse, during the events of Age of Extinction. Ratchet is being hunted by Cemetery Wind and Lockdown. A dimensional rift tears open, spewing out Decepticons from Transformers: Prime (TFP)... right into one of the worst moments in Autobot history.

(Bayverse, during the events of Age of Extinction. Ratchet is being hunted by Cemetery Wind and Lockdown. A dimensional rift tears open, spewing out Decepticons from Transformers: Prime (TFP)... right into one of the worst moments in Autobot history. Bayverse Ratchet is limping, blasted and cornered by black SUVs and a prowling Lockdown. Cemetery Wind operatives aim their weapons. Tension is high.)

James Savoy (Cemetery Wind): "Target is boxed. Ready to terminate the Autobot."

Ratchet (Bayverse): (pained) "You're hunting us down... after we fought for this planet. Traitors..."

Lockdown (approaching, scanning): "You're not my target. But you’re a loose end. Dead is... efficient."

(Just as the final shot is about to be fired, the sky rips open with a pulsing green rift. Energy distorts the air violently. Out crashes a jet-like figure—) Starscream (TFP): (spinning in the air, crashing into shipping crates) "WHAT IN THE NAME OF PRIMUS—?!"

(Seconds later, more TFP Decepticons pour out: Knock Out in his alt-mode, Breakdown, Airachnid (in spider mode), Soundwave (silent as ever), and even Dreadwing.)

Lockdown (aiming his face cannon): "...This is new."

Starscream (TFP): (springs up, brushing off) "Where—where are we? This isn't Cybertron, and—wait, is that... me?!"

(He sees the mangled corpse of Bayverse Starscream nearby.)

Starscream (TFP): "WRETCHED! What... what happened to me here?! I HAVE TWO EYES!"

Knock Out: (transforms) "Ew. What is this aesthetic? Grit, rust, and everyone’s angry. Are we in a junkyard dimension?"

Breakdown: (muttering) "This place reeks of war... even worse than ours."

Ratchet (Bayverse): (staring in disbelief) "...You're... not from here."

Airachnid: (smiling creepily) "Oh no... I think we walked into someone else's nightmare."

James Savoy: "More targets. Engage. Terminate all hostiles!"

(The black SUVs and Lockdown open fire. TFP Decepticons scatter, taken off guard.)

Starscream (TFP): "AAH! What IS this?! They’re not even Cybertronians! THEY’RE FLESH-BAGS IN CARS WITH GUNS!!"
