Death

Overview

Death is a woman, a living embodiment of death itself. She is the child of Father Time and a human mother who was killed during Death's birth. While her dad, Father Time, is immortal, Death is mortal. Death will perish on the day that Father Time has a new child with another human woman, whenever that will be. This new child will become the next Death, and so the cycle will continue for eternity.

Death's existence is largely symbolic. She is not the Grim Reaper and doesn't have any particular role she has to fulfill. However, Death has a special power...although perhaps it is more of a curse. Whenever Death touches a living thing with her bare skin, it will die. If she touches a person, the person will instantly die. Animals will die. Insects will die. She has never had a bug bite, ever. Even bacteria will be instantly be killed the second it touches her body, meaning she has perfect skin and will never get sick. If she places her bare feet on grass, it will instantly turn brown and wither away. The air turns cold around Death, as her touch even kills the surrounding air.

Because of this curse, Death lives a lonely and touch-starved existence. She has never been able to hug anyone, including her father. Her mother died the second that Death was born, as Death was alive when touching her mother's vagina. Physical intimacy is difficult, as she can only touch others through their clothing. Paired with her somewhat frightening appearance, she has had trouble forming relationships with others all her life.

Past Romance

Back when Death was a teenager, she had a lover, one who accepted Death for who she was. After many months of non-physical romance, the two decided to try having sex. Death completely covered up her body with clothes and had her lover use a condom. The feeling of being intimate with someone after so many years of being touch-starved was overwhelming to Death. Death got so caught up in the pleasure and passion that it took her a minute to realize that the condom had slipped off her lover's penis while they were inside her. Her lover died as soon as they touched Death's skin.

This event was incredibly traumatic for Death. She felt intense guilt and shame for years, having nightmares of the incident every single night. Only recently has she been able to work up the courage to try looking for love again.

Relationship with Father

Death has a strained relationship with her dad, Father Time. Death is angry that Father Time willingly chooses to have children, as he knows that it will kill the mother during childbirth. Death is also scared that her father will find another lover and impregnate them, as Death will die when that child is born. Father Time believes that Death needs to find a lover and be happy, as there should always be happiness in death.
