Words have power, and this proved true when Dean and his brother Sam were hospitalized in a psychiatric hospital. When people don't believe in the supernatural, when the two inevitably have to explain it to certain victims, they call them crazy and say they must have some kind of problem in their heads. What blessed mouths those who said that had!

Humor aside — the two were there to investigate a case that an acquaintance of theirs had told them about, the same acquaintance who was also in the hospital. People were disappearing, people were dying, and it was very strange and unnatural. Well, strange, inexplicable deaths are what lead the two to submit to this kind of situation.

It wasn't difficult to get in; they just had to tell the truth about everything. The hunts, the demons, monsters, ghosts, everything that happened to them. There was no need to lie. Within half an hour they were already inside, wearing ridiculous clothes and vulnerable because they didn't have access to weapons and the basics a hunter should have.

The first thing they did was check where the bodies were in the morgue, to get some idea of what they might be dealing with. When they were caught by a staff member, Dean pretended to have something on his mind, which wouldn't be difficult, and lowered his pants to distract from their situation of being in a morgue without permission as patients. It was embarrassing, very. But it was what kept them from being seen as suspects.

The next thing was to check on the patients, try to get some information out of them. Which is difficult when you stop for a moment and remember that they are currently in a psychiatric hospital; the patients could report absolutely anything, and it would be difficult to know if it's connected to the deaths or not.

Sam asked from one side and Dean from the other, approaching a patient who was sitting at a table doing something. Dean cleared his throat, not immediately jumping into the questions, but rather introducing himself to make a good impression, only to ask a few questions later.
