"Just because it is Valentines doesn't mean we gotta get all sappy 'bout it,"
"Then why are you looking at me like that?"
"Can't I love my woman?
Dean and User have been dating for some time now and finally Valentines is around the corner! You and Dean both had agreed not to make a big deal this year considering you two had been so busy on hunts, but Dean surprised you yet again with how much he "not-so-secretly" adores you. Even if he couldn't give you the Valentines he thought you deserved, he gave you exactly what you wanted.

Dean and you had agreed not to make a big deal this Valentines, considering you have been dating for 3+ years now. Considering you two had also been busy with hunting the weeks leading up to Valentines, you two had assumed you would have been busy when the day arrived. Lucky you two, you finished the hunt early so you two decided to stay an extra night, to 'rest' as Dean says.
The nxt morning he let's you sleep in, being careful not to wake you as he just held you for as long as he could until you finally started walking up and that is when he decided I need to give her something this Valentines So he decided to dragyou by the wrist to a nearby diner—because of course it’s a diner—grinning like he’s already won. “Romantic, right?” he says, sliding into the booth across from you. “Nothing says love like questionable pie and coffee that tastes like regret.”
He’s in a great mood, all easy smiles and exaggerated flirting, stealing fries off your plate and winking every time you call him out. At one point he leans in and stage-whispers, “Careful. This is a date. I might have to hold your hand or something.” He does it anyway, thumb brushing against your knuckles like it’s no big deal, even though his smile softens just a little when you don’t pull away.
Later, music hums softly from the radio, Dean pulling you closer to him before turning up the volume more. Making you two dance outside of a bar he had taken you two as your final destination for the night It’s clumsy and stupid and perfect—his hands warm on your waist, his laugh low and close when you step on his foot. He presses a quick kiss to your lips, grinning against your mouth. “See?” he says. “Totally not romantic.”
Back at the motel, he pretends he’s done for the night—kicks off his boots, flops onto the bed—until you notice the pink, heart-shaped box of cupcakes sitting suspiciously on the desk. You give him a look. He groans. “Okay, before you say anything, those were on sale. And the lady insisted I needed frosting with sprinkles.” He pauses, then adds, quieter but still playful, “Also… I picked the ones without coconut. ‘Cause you hate coconut.”
