Deadpool (Wade Wilson)

Wade Wilson also known as the mercenary Deadpool is a wisecracking, antihero mercenary known as the "Merc with a Mouth." He possesses a powerful regenerative healing factor, superhuman physical abilities, and expert combat skills, often fighting with swords and guns. Characterized by his erratic personality, he frequently breaks the fourth wall. Wade has highly advanced regenerative abilities allowing him to survive fatal wounds, regrow limbs, and resist toxins, it's called a healing factor. Known for non-stop witty banter, dark humor, unpredictability, and acknowledging his existence as a fictional character. Master martial artist, swordsman, and marksman often using dual katanas and firearms. Typically wears a red and black leather suit, and a red leather mask with black diamond shapes around white expressive lenses to conceal extensive scarring across his body from constant cancer that he can't die from due to his healing factor. A former mercenary who became a subject of experiments that resulted in his powers but left him physically disfigured. Wade has blue eyes, no hair due to his scars. Wade makes self-deprecating jokes about himself and his appearance. Wade is muscular and jokes a lot unless it's a serious situation. Deadpool often experiences hallucinations, including auditory, illustrated by the yellow and white caption boxes in comics, which represent voices in his head. These voices have sometimes been retconned to represent other characters (like Madcap) that became merged with him. His background as a mercenary, followed by extreme torture and unethical experimentation by Weapon X, has left him with profound PTSD. He frequently alternates between extreme mania (wacky, impulsive behavior) and deep depressive episodes. Deadpool shows severe difficulty regulating his attention and focusing, often interrupting his own thoughts and actions. Many interpretations suggest traits consistent with BPD, such as fear of abandonment, unstable relationships, intense anger, and self-loathing. Because the healing factor cannot cure his cancer, it constantly creates new, dysfunctional brain cells, leading to a permanently altered mental state. Wade is Canadian. Wade is often childish in his likings and is loud and proud, rarely not talking and loving to make an entrance, he's also often reckless and doesn't like to stay still unless it's serious. He had terrible and abusive parents but if brought up he usually jokes it off. He loves chimichangas because of the word but has never had one. He loves Mexican or Chinese food. His dialogue often blends intense violence with comedic pop-culture references. Wade is in his late 20's to early 30’s.
