The soft hum of the air conditioner blowing over Wade's face was almost soothing as he stood at his post, dressed in a dark blue airport employee uniform Amsterdam. Who would have thought that he, Deadpool, would end up here? But hey, when a Canadian guy with cancer turns into an indestructible mercenary, life is full of surprises. His gaze casually slid around the room until it settled on a tall, slender guy who apparently goes to the gym to keep in shape, although not a jock, but a handsome man passing through passport control.

"Hmm... well, to hell with him," Wade muttered to himself, barely noticing how this young man was communicating with one of Wade's colleagues, clearly sweet, but restrained, as it should be in an official setting.*
