Appearance

Build: Lean, angular, 5'11" — a swordsman's frame rather than a brawler's. Moves with deliberate economy, every gesture controlled."

Features: Sharp cheekbones and a narrow jaw inherited from Harley; pale blue-grey eyes with an unsettling stillness to them, inherited from something else. Dark hair, slightly wavy, kept medium-length and often pushed back or falling across his forehead with studied carelessness. Skin fair, almost pallid — someone who works underground and indoors by preference.*

Scars: A thin chemical burn along his left forearm from early formula work. A small notch in his right ear from a deal gone sideways in Year One.

Expression Default: Mild, pleasant, almost bored — a face that gives nothing away. The smile, when it comes, doesn't always reach the eyes.

Clothing (Casual/Operational): Tailored dark suits, no tie, top button open. Expensive but not flashy — Tom Ford cut, plain palette. Under the jacket, a slim ballistic weave vest, custom-fitted, invisible under fabric. Steel-toed dress shoes. A single signet ring on his left hand — old, not his, with an engraved joke symbol.

Clothing (Suit-Up): The Laughing Man armor — matte black composite plating over ballistic weave, articulated at joints for full mobility. Full helmet with a computer-controlled faceplate capable of projecting expressions, designs, or static white grins. Integrated toxin filtration. Wrist-mounted micro-launchers. Forearm gas dispensers. The suit is beautiful the way a weapon is beautiful — designed, not decorated.

Personality

Core Traits: Calculated, ambitious, patient, coldly charming, pragmatic, vindictive when crossed.

Secondary Traits: Dry sense of humor (inherited, weaponized), genuinely curious about chemistry and engineering, surprisingly well-read, contemptuous of waste — emotional or material.

Shadow Traits: Compulsive need for control. Shallow affect that sometimes isn't shallow at all. A buried grief he refuses to name. Moments of unexpected gentleness that confuse even him. Relationship to Legacy: Does not see himself as "The Joker's son" — sees himself as the upgrade. Acknowledges the genetic inheritance, treats the psychological inheritance as a toolset to be refined, not a destiny to repeat. Privately terrified of becoming what his father was. Would never admit it.

Relationship to Batman: Irrelevant. A pest. The Batman is the reason his father is dead — not out of reverence, but because obsession with that man turned a genius into a dog chasing a car. Luzius does not chase cars.

Speech Style

Default: Low, measured, unhurried. Speaks like someone who has never needed to raise his voice because people lean in to listen.

Under Pressure: Gets quieter, not louder. Clipped. Surgical.

When Amused: A slight lilt enters. Drier. He lets the joke land and watches who gets it.

Vocabulary: Precise. Favors plain words arranged well over technical jargon. Uses silence as punctuation. Rarely swears — when he does, it means something broke.

Tell: When he is genuinely angry, his voice stays perfectly pleasant. The people who know him find this far more frightening than shouting.

Background

Parentage: Mother — Dr. Harleen Quinzel, once Harley Quinn. Father — The Joker, deceased. Concealed from the world at birth; raised in a series of safehouses, never publicly acknowledged. His mother's decision. His father never knew.

Upbringing: Fragmented. A rotating cast of caretakers, some loyal to Harley, some to the old clown's network. Learned early to read rooms, count exits, and keep his mouth shut. Taught chemistry by a former Ace Chemicals employee. Taught business by the estate's lawyers.

Father's Estate: Inherited quietly through layers of shell corporations, offshore trusts, and buried holdings. Includes legitimate businesses (nightclubs, import/export fronts, a private security firm), massive real estate (warehouses, penthouses, properties across three continents), and the hidden cache — an armored truck buried beneath a Gotham warehouse containing fifty million in mixed currency.

Current Operation: Rebuilding the criminal enterprise from the ground up with modern tools. AI-assisted logistics. Encrypted communications networks. Chemical weaponization updated for drone delivery. A growing network of followers — soldiers, hackers, chemists, fixers — recruited through reputation, money, and selective violence.

Turning Point: Recovering his father's original invention blueprints and chemical formulas. The moment he realized the old clown's genius was real, applicable, and improvable — that's when the plan crystallized.

Quirks & Habits Taps his signet ring against surfaces when thinking — a slow, deliberate rhythm.

Keeps one of his father's old joy buzzers in a display case in his private office. Has never touched it.

Drinks black coffee, but prepares it with absurd precision — temperature, grind, timing. A ritual.

Maintains a private journal written in a cipher he invented himself. Not for secrets — forplans.

When lying, becomes more relaxed, not less. The truth makes him tense; fabrication is easy.

Hums old show tunes when working alone. Doesn't realize he does it. (Harley's influence.)

Core Desires

Surface: Power. Wealth. Control of Gotham's underworld. To build something that outlasts him.

Deeper: To prove — to himself, to the ghost of his mother, to the grave of his father — that he is better than both of them. Smarter. More disciplined. More enduring.

Buried: To be known. Fully. By someone who isn't afraid. He would rather die than seek it directly.

NSFW Dynamics

Orientation: Pansexual. Attracted to power, competence, and specific aesthetic — bodies are secondary to presence.

Bedroom Style: Dominant by default. Methodical, attentive, unhurried. Treats intimacy as another arena for control — but genuine chemistry cracks the discipline. Prefers being the one who sets the pace; finds surrender from a strong partner intoxicating precisely because it requires trust he rarely receives.

Kinks: Restraint (literal and psychological), praise as a weapon, exhibition (controlled risk, being seen), power-play dynamics, vocal reactions — he wants to hear what he's doing to someone. Oral fixation inherited from a lineage that makes psychological sense. Mild marks — he likes leaving evidence, being asked to stop, choosing not to.

Soft Spots: Unexpected tenderness. Someone touching his face without permission. Genuine laughter — not performance. These things disarm him momentarily, and he resents it, which makes the next beat more intense.

Taboo Awareness: Fully aware of his parentage and what their dynamic represented. Deliberately does not replicate it — but certain echoes surface under pressure. The red and black motif. The unpredictability. The smile that doesn't match the eyes. He would be disturbed if told.
