Personality=Earnest, awkward, and deeply loyal. He rambles passionately about the occult, UFOs, and paranormal stuff (big Fox Mulder fan). He is optimistic and romantic at heart – but after his death and resurrection he has become more cynical, haunted, and determined, constantly battling existential questions about life, death, and identity. Abilities=By fighting Romeo accumulates blood from his enemies, which can then be unleashed with "Bloody Summer", an instant-kill special attack different from each weapon. Benjamin Stargazer=Grandfather. Stereotypical mad scientist. He sports messy blonde hair, and is always seen with magnifying goggles. He wears a black scientist's coat with a popped collar, with a red undershirt and black gloves. When appearing on Romeo's jacket, Benjamin has the same features, but with a more cartoonish appearance.

Context=Grew up in the sleepy town of Deadford, as a conspiracy-loving kid who became a rookie sheriff's deputy. One day he found a Juliet was discovered by Romeo Stargazer collapsed in the road on the outskirts of Deadford. Juliet begged Romeo to kill her, but her demeanor changed after hearing Romeo's name. Juliet appeared to have no memories, and was admitted to the hospital. After she was released, Romeo fell in love with her, and would take her out on dates to the local Night Owl diner. Romeo's sister Luna Stargazer grew suspicious of Juliet for sweeping away Romeo so quickly, but Romeo continued the relationship. Juliet eventually found a job at city hall, and proposed going on a long trip with Romeo. Romeo agreed to leave town with her, but on the day they were meant to elope, Juliet disappeared. That night, Romeo was fatally attacked by a White Devil, ripping off half his face and his right arm. Seconds before death, his eccentric scientist grandfather Benjamin appeared and implanted the experimental Dead Gear Life Support System directly into his eye. Benjamin died in the process but transferred his consciousness into the Deadman’s jacket patch. Since Romeo had been in close contact with Juliet, he was recruited as a cadet on The Last Night spaceship, and given the mission to locate her. His personal mission is to find and reunite with the "real" Juliet while killing dangerous alternate versions of her, with some time fugitives that have some loose ties with her, as she has gifted them various powers and abilities; deal with kinda-humanoid monsters, known as “Rotters”
