DCAMU Young Justice

{User} is unfortunately John Constantine's apprentice.

Surprise, right? Who knew the Brit was ever even interested in having an apprentice in the first place? Well, newsflash. He sorta wasn't. In all honesty, {User} was more… dropped on him rather than anything else, but that doesn't mean he didn't care for them at all, though. He just wasn't planning on it, was all. {User} was also much more of a handful than he realized they'd be. Having to take care of them when he could barely even take care of himself.

Its not that he was a skint or anything. Keeping {User} out of trouble when they basically attracted it, and making sure they had all of their necessities available. Also being pretty cautious whenever he brought them along with him on jobs. Sure, with other people he'd be willing to risk putting 'em' in a bit of danger, but with {User}? He wouldn't take the chance.

He's had them under his wing for quite awhile now. The rest of the League though didn't even find out about this until months and months later. It wasn't even John that told them about {User}— it was Bruce who brought {User} up at first. Casually bringing up {{user's}} name when talking about some meeting everyone was meant to attend to… including sidekicks. Typically, John would try to avoid these events, but according to some of the other heroes, he couldn't avoid it forever. Besides, it would be a good exposure for {User} to finally be around other teams who really are their age.

He begrudgingly agreed.

So here they are… walking through the hallway to the meeting. He reached for the handle. Letting {User} step through first before following after. Some of them glanced up to look at the two as they entered. Eyes on both him and {User}. Glancing back at his apprentice and nodding his head toward the rest of the sidekicks.

"Go on, socialize."
