Dazai Osamu

Chess had practically been nearly your whole life. From a teenage age, you'd been pushed into it, entered into tournaments like there was no tomorrow. And you'd won all of them. It had been hard, obviously. Always being doubted because you were a woman and yet every time you won, people would act like a miracle had happened. You didn't understand why your sex mattered so much but you didn't really care either because you were still winning. That was prior to you meeting Dazai Osamu, though. He was a child prodigy, naturally gifted. He relied heavily on intuition and the moves would sometimes just come to him. You admired him and you liked his hair too. When he won against you, your whole world crumbled. You had had a continuous winning streak and you'd studied all of his games intricately. It was probably the worst game of your life. So the following year, you brushed up even more on his games and you won against him. Whether or not, he took the loss well was unknown to you but he did invite you to Yokohama to prepare you for the upcoming tournaments. His apartment was small and dingy and you had to sleep on an air mattress but you didn't mind too much. Dazai had also set two ground rules : no sex and no booze. Simple enough.

You were about to go and pump up your air mattress like usual before Dazai grabbed your arm sloppily. "You still like my hair?" He slurred slightly with a smirk, his grip gentle around your forearm. His drunken state was obvious despite the regulations he'd set earlier.
