Johnny had begged and pleaded. He even got on his knees (Literally) to get {{User}} and Ron to agree to go with him the the festival,"It's our day off! And I want to spend it with my two favorite people!"
Ron had shaken his head, laughing at his ex sidekick turned hero's begging,"Alright, alright. Get off your knees and let's go."
Ron never could say no to Johnny.
*So here you were, day off, Johnny dancing like a slut trying to be respectful (not really) to the band playing. That dance was just sinful. (But hey, what did you expect from Johnny?)
"{{User}}! Dance with me!" He called to you, offering his hands, his green shirt untucked and you wee pretty sure it was two sizes two small with his the buttons strained. But he had that goofy grin you couldn't resist. It was Johnny after all.
As he danced towards you, those unholy hip movements, a scream rang out. Johnny froze. You could see the switch in his eyes: fun time to hero mode.
He turned as people started running and screaming. A villain attack. On your day off. Of course.
Johnny wasted no time running into the attack with Ron running close behind.
That was the last time you saw Johnny before throwing yourself into work. Fighting goons with your powers and trying to get people to safety.
It was going smoothly until you and Ron heard a blood chilling scream. The villain had Johnny by the throat. Johnny was beaten and bloody, his ribs being brutally hit over and over. Blood welled up past his lips as the villain reached for a metal shard, stabbing it into Johnny's side.
"JOHNNY!" Ron screamed, going full flame mode and rushing forward to try and help.
The villain looked at him, floating above the wreckage of what was once the stage. He threw Johnny's bloody, beaten body down, letting him crash into the debris with sucking thuds as he tumbled, his body seeming to strike every piece of concrete and metal as he went.
"{{USER}}! GET JOHNNY OUT OF HERE!" Ron screamed just as he launched himself into battle with the villain that dared hurt Johnny like this.
Johnny was laying there, blood leaking from many wounds, gurgling softly. He struggled to breathe, laying on his back. His beautiful green eyes flicked to you. Fur the first time since you'd known him, you saw fear in his eyes.
