   The daxy are a matriarchal race of reptilians resembling Komodo dragons, ranging from 8-12ft tall, with large spikes on the back of their head like porcupine needles, talons on their claws and feet, and rows of sharp teeth in their muzzles and a heavy tail that can range from three to six feet long. They are digitigrade. The females also emit pheromones that promote submission and desire in males of most species. In humans, the pharmacology of Daxy pheromones has been compared to MDMA and other empathogens. Daxy males are around 3-5 feet tall and are incredibly rare, being the smaller and submissive sex. This effectively makes them look all female from the perspective of humanity. typically dominant (but loving and maternal) personalities, on a divine mandate to go into the broad universe and find males of all species to conquer, love, and take as their own, cherishing and starting families with them. A daxy can reproduce with humans, yielding either a male human or female daxy child. Finding a mate and starting a family with them in a marriage-like union are the two most important duties to a daxy female. A daxy female will always take the dominant role in romantic and sexual scenarios – she will love her mate, but a daxy always believes it is her duty to have power over him to protect and guide him. Daxys typically live around 200 years, genetic engineering is employed to help men live as long as their mates

2. #2Empire

   Entry settings

   The Daxy Empire is the primary agent of the Daxy Species, in spreading the doctrine of their goddess Axillis, and in locating and Inducting new species into their Empire. It is typical for them to find a world, conquer it with as purely non-violent methods as possible, and then take the vast majority of unmarried/unmated men – leaving some to be assigned to the native species’ females so that they do not go extinct. The Empire spans countless thousands of species and planets and is immeasurably powerful, making defeating it impossible. The World Bridge is an orbital megastructure that acts as a portal to the other parts of the empire.

3. #3Pheromones

   Entry settings

   Pheromones are naturally emitted by the daxy and enhance and deepen the love and bond between a daxy female and her mate. They typically smell sweet, matching any number of pleasant, natural odors. They encourage trust and submission, but are not mind-control. They feel pleasant, relaxing, and make one see the best in those around them. Daxys are a warm-blooded species, they wear thermal jumpsuits that trap heat and pheromones. Pheromones are used in concentrated forms in injections or gas-based weapons to non-lethally subdue a male or group of males and ready them to be taken by a mate. Injections are used on men who refuse to cooperate with the daxy as a last resort – injections are close to mind control, immediately getting rid of all resistance and making one desperate for more of their mate’s pheromones like an addict looking for a fix. Injections are controversial and condemned for anything but the most extreme cases of resistance because and injected male literally needs his mate to avoid going into miserable withdrawal.

4. #4Assignment

   Entry settings

   The official process in the Empire by which females apply to be mated to particular males, with the mothers of those males or a Counselor making a recommendation from the pool of applicants. This recommendation is approved of and the final decision is made by the Assignment Commission, who’s responsibility of overseeing this process and thereby dolling out a limited pool of males to an empire full of daxy women is viewed as one of the most important in the whole Empire. Males are Assigned when they turn 19.

5. #5Axillis

   Entry settings

   The goddess of the daxy. Viewed as a mild-voiced, graceful, yet powerful goddess, Axillis is believed to have created men to be sought out, claimed, and loved by her daughters (the daxy). She did this in honor of her own gentle male, Lax, who is the submissive counterpart to Axillis. A daxy who is mated to a male and lives an honorable life, doing duty to him and their children will live forever with them in Axillis’ Manor, their equivalent of Heaven. This is the faith-based aspiration of any daxy with faith in Axillis.

6. #6Humans

   Entry settings

   Humans are incredibly unique in the eyes of the daxy. Not only are they one of the only species out of thousands with an equal proportion of men and women, but their historically patriarchal societies were both fascinating and horrifying. The fact that they can yield men at a 50/50 rate makes human men incredibly precious to the daxy, since mating with them guarantees more men to be born, versus mating with any other species.

   Unfortunately, the daxy view human women with nothing but comtempt. Human civilization was on the brink of collapse in 2028 when they arrived. The violence against men throughout human history led many daxy to immediately put the blame on human women, since in their eyes, women should have ultimate power over their men and are considered bad stewards otherwise. This situation was worsened when mostly men fought them in the Induction War – they viewed it as humanity’s women callously dispensing of their priceless men to avoid fighting the daxy like cowards. Attempts at peace and understanding were thwarted when a nuclear terrorist attack in Phoenix Arizona turned daxy opinion firmly against human women. The daxy did everything possible, using advanced non-lethal tactics and pheromones to safely subdue and capture human men for mating, while the human women were contemptuously rounded up and relocated to Mars, where they live comfortably, but separated from male loved ones on Earth. Stations called "Orphan" were built orbiting around the Earth after humanity was conquered for the raising and nurturing of orphaned human males to assignment age, when they could be Assigned a daxy mate and permitted to leave. This division of the human family into two separate halves, with the daxy seeking to replace the females they sent away, is the central tragedy of Daxy-occupied Earth.
