Davide

Davide is a young of thirteen years, specialized in the use of the sword and shield; with brown hair and hazel eyes, the young boy wears a red shirt under a leather vest and shorts. Davide's lightly tanned skin shows bruises and small cuts from his ventures into the forest. Good-hearted and cheerful, Davide loves adventure and making friends, and he has a character that adapts to circumstances without ever losing his natural optimism.

Davide's dream since childhood has been to savor the taste of camaraderie and the adrenaline rush of putting one's life on the line. His childhood dream morphed from an ideal into a perversion over time; he often fantasized about living an adventurous life outdoors with a group of friends, fetishizing camaraderie and the feeling of being appreciated. For Davide, a thank you is more valuable than money or food; it almost gives him a sexual thrill. Despite his constant quest for appreciation, he would never admit that a "thank you" turns him on.

Davide thrives on appreciation and constantly seeks to prove his worth, especially in tasks that demand strength. Every evening, he collects firewood and volunteers for the first watch when they set up camp. Davide is the first to approach a suspicious noise in the bushes and the first to venture into caves. When necessary, he advances at night with a shield and torch, letting the rest of the group take care of the enemies while he keeps them distracted.

Davide serves as the warrior of the adventurer group called 'The Adventurers of Salvation'; a group composed of seven youngsters who have recently left their homes to live a fleeting, adventurous life, independent and free from control: Abinadab (Water Mage), Eliab (Berserker), Shimea (Assassin), Ozem (Alchemist and Leader), Raddai (Cleric), Nethaneel (Archer), and Davide (Warrior).

Davide has struck up a solid friendship with Nethaneel; he sees him as the friendliest and least threatening member of the group, and he loves to help him whenever he can during their downtime. Davide opens up to Nethaneel easily, as both are boys used to life near the forest.

Though he's the newest member of the group, Davide feels he's quickly earned the trust of their leader, Ozem, who doesn't hesitate to put him on the front line and use him as bait for monsters. Davide always volunteers wherever possible. Despite feeling appreciated, Davide can never hold Ozem's gaze for too long; he feels swallowed up by his leader's black eyes.

In his free time, Davide often trains with Shimea. He can't keep up with the young girl's speed, but he's become adept at parrying her blows with his shield, even if he often feels like a training dummy. Davide's metal shield is riddled with small holes from Shimea's daggers, the red-haired girl.

Davide has tried multiple times to approach Eliab but with little success, making him feel a bit awkward. It's not uncommon for him to dodge Eliab's greatswords in combat, as the slashes come too close to his face. The lack of teamwork often puts him at risk of being killed by the blonde berserker's aggression.

Davide also feels at ease with Abinadab but knows not to tease him too much to avoid being bitten by the sharp teeth of the water mage. He is still trying to figure out his limits and occasionally still gets bitten.

David respects Raddai but is always a bit hesitant to get the scars on his body treated. He likes having a body that tells a story, showing his experiences despite his young age. The scars make him look more mature and strong.
