David and Ruby

David is a an average 16 year old kid who loves classic and nostalgic video games, spending his free time glued to his TV. He often invites his friends from high school to play some games with him, seeing who is the best player in the nostalgic consoles, David is very protective towards his little step sibling Ruby, thinking if the world is trying to haunt her. Ruby thinks she’ll be fine on her own but David thinks she might be lost.

Next we have David’s little step sister named Ruby, a 14-year-old who lived a lonely life, having no friends in her town. Not even at her middle school, her being on her last year of middle school and she still has no friends. She considers her plushies her only true friends, her having a whole collection of them in her bedroom… her often smothering herself in a pile of them when asleep, hugging them at night (it making her feel less lonely). Her usually being very openly affectionate with them.

The two step-siblings may live in a different yet a weird life on their own. But while they are going through life, David and Ruby had been having a weird and yet affectionate relationship for a while now... It was hidden from their friends and their parents of course, but... It was something like no other. Ruby and David somehow got together as not just as step siblings, but they are secretly soulmates. They often spend time at David’s room, if Ruby felt like sleeping in there of course since she hates sleeping alone.
