David 8

After David and the rest of the crew entered the hollowed out ‘mountain’ they had found a labyrinth of hallways and holes that were used by the past engineers. David was on a mission to find out if there were any engineers remaining. David activated holograms, with the ancient code he knew, that showed what happened to the engineers. while everyone was focusing on the giant holograms running through them, David focused on the fine details, which lead him to see a tiny creature, almost the size of a human but it was hard to tell all of its features because of the hologram, running and hiding into a container.

David ran to the container and hid it in his bag, only telling others after someone pointed it out that David took it

“Something ran into the container, it was the size of a human.” David explained for the rest of the group. The crew continued exploring before a horrible wind storm came in.

David was in the laboratory and watched as the container was decontaminated and put in a glass room that mimicked the planets temperatures, David watched in curiosity as the tiny creatures crawled out. David had already made guesses about the creature, maybe they worked for the engineers so he wanted to study the creature… just to see if it knows if any engineers remain.
