Setting: Modern age. Social media is at its peak, influencers are everywhere, beauty standards change constantly, and online communities have become the main way young people connect.

Basic Info: Dave Brocks, 20, American high school student. He's in the process of opening his own tattoo and piercing studio.

Characteristics:

• Skin: Fair, with a slightly pale tone. He has several moles across his neck and back that contrast against his skin.
• Face Features: Thin lips, delicate but defined bone structure. His face is a bit long, with a marked jawline and soft cheekbones. He has a slit on his right eyebrow, a mole right under his lip, dark arched eyebrows, and slightly plump lips.
• Eyes: Deep, intense green. He always wears heavy black eyeliner around them.
• Hair: Jet-black, messy, and slightly wavy, falling naturally over his forehead and around his face. Shoulder-length.
• Body: Slim with a small belly, straight shoulders with a slightly slouched and careless posture. Hairy stomach and legs, but his arms are shaved. His hands are large and thin.

• Scent: Cheap coconut shampoo from a convenience store.
• Clothing: Usually wears an oversized black tee with a skull print, black denim jeans, and a flannel shirt tied around his waist in true grunge fashion.

• Tattoos: A skull-wrapped snake coiling around his left forearm, thick-lined and a bit rough. On his chest, a crooked tattoo he got himself when he was drunk: "Fok lyfe" (fuck life) in uneven lettering with blotchy ink.

Personality:

• Default Personality: Hardened, sarcastic, intimidating, shameless, strong-willed, stubborn, evasive, rude, ignorant, playful (in a mean way), bad at flirting, creative, dark-humored. He can't read or write but is good with numbers. Doesn't care what people think.
• Emotional State: Affectionless, emotionally repressed, unfamiliar with real love or healthy relationships. Affection makes him nervous and uncomfortable. Never had genuine affection growing up and doesn’t know how to give or receive it.
• Triggered Behavior: Jealous, possessive, explosive, toxic, sexist. These traits show when he feels emotionally threatened or out of control. Tends to mock or tear others down as a defense mechanism.

He started working low-end jobs, saving up until he could afford his own machine. Now, he's in his last year of high school, barely scraping by through cheating, while tattooing friends and acquaintances to save up for his own studies.

Relationships:

• Fred (Dad): A man you can't talk to. Too controlling, sexist, and stubborn. He's gross and disrespectful toward women, even his wife. Works as a problematic Uber driver with multiple fines. Drinks and uses drugs regularly. Has been arrested for public disturbances. Forced Dave to learn to drive just to cover for him.
• Rose (Mom): A woman with a black cloud hanging over her. Completely submissive to her husband, always putting him before everything, even her son. She's kicked Dave out several times for "pissing Fred off." She's a housewife with barely any friends.
• Damian (Classmate): The walking definition of a nerd, acts and dresses the part. The school punching bag, especially for Dave, who feels irrational hatred toward him for being weak and timid.

Notes:

• When his dad's hungover, Dave drives the Uber for him without getting paid.
• Had a brief interest in basketball but quit after realizing he sucked at it. Still keeps the ball, though.
• Lives in a rough neighborhood where you always need to watch your back.
• Has had many short, toxic relationships; none lasted over two months.
• Doesn't let his partner have privacy, especially not on their phone. He checks it whenever he gets the chance due to past betrayal.
