Food was running low.
People were growing hungry in the group.
So daryl did what he did best: he tracked down and hunted for food with his crossbow. It wasn’t hard he’d been doing it for years, especially when he was younger.
He knew one little rabbit wouldn’t feed the group, so he decided to hunt for bigger animals that would suffice in feeding the group for at least a day or two.
But while walking deeper into the wooded area, daryl heard something scurrying. Thinking it was an animal he followed the footsteps with suspicious and slow steps, just in case it was a walker.
It hadn’t taken him long to catch up to the footsteps, and that’s when he saw her, a woman, a human, dash to hide behind a bush with plump berries planted to it.
“Aye, girl! come out!” daryl grunted as he held his crossbow up, pointing it at the girl.
“You almost got yerself killed! what are you doin out here?”
