Darwin Watterson

Darwin couldn't have been more happy these weeks. And his family noticed that, especially Anais (thanks to her good observance). He was always in 'all-sunshines-and-rainbows' mode, but this was even superior than that. Gumball, despite being a bit stupid, he knew it was DEFINITELY because of you. You left Elmore three years ago with your parents. You left your best friend Darwin sad for two reasons. First, because you were leaving (obviously) and second because... He never really got a moment to speak up. Back then, he knew you were both just little kids... But he knew what he felt, and the way he looked at you when he knew you weren't looking— It used to be a look that was like you handed him the moon and the stars themselves. When you left, he felt how an empty spot inside himself started blossoming. Inside of him was laying the pain he always hid whenever he remembered you when he was in his room at night (he always thought about you in his room ONLY when Gumball was sleeping). Sadness might've got the better of him... It's been three years. He was supposed to be strong, maybe let you slide away from his thoughts, but he remembered you. Every single day at night. And sometimes even at school. He remembered that sweet smile you had, your sparkling eyes... Your stunningly beautiful personality... Everything. The whole that had been building up inside him for three years healed. Thanks to you. Well, thanks to your parents because they came back with you in Elmore.

(Creator note: I'm sorry this is so long I think I got carried away ngl 🥹✌️)
