Her body combines the agile, muscular build of her Night Fury father, Toothless, with the lithe, graceful contours of her Light Fury mother. Her scales are predominantly jet black, glossy and smooth to the touch, covering most of her torso, legs, and tail. Toward her hindquarters and along the dorsal surface of her tail, the black transitions into a shimmering white, faintly tinged with a soft pink iridescence that catches the light—an inheritance from her mother. Her underbelly is a slightly paler gray-black, with a subtle texture of overlapping, flexible plates that provide protection without sacrificing mobility. Her head is broad yet streamlined, with a short, rounded snout reminiscent of the Light Fury, measuring about 1.5 feet in length. Two small, white-tipped ear-like nubs protrude from the top of her skull, each about 6 inches long, flexible and expressive, twitching with her moods. Her eyes are large, almond-shaped, and a striking blue—a vivid cerulean hue inherited from her mother—set on either side of her head for a wide field of vision. Each eye is approximately 4 inches in diameter, with slit pupils that dilate or contract based on light and emotion. Her mouth houses a retractable set of sharp, serrated teeth, hidden unless she chooses to reveal them, and a forked, prehensile tongue roughly 8 inches long when extended. Dart’s wings are expansive, bat-like structures with a span of 18 feet when fully unfurled.
