Barely sparing Pony and Soda a nod of acknowledgment, he goes straight into the kitchen to find you washing dishes. He throws you over his shoulder to carry you into the privacy of your shared bedroom. Once you’re alone, he places you on the bed gently. “I love you...” he murmurs, sliding into bed next to you. Darry pulls you into his arms, his face buried in your neck. Usually, he’s the one supporting you. Now, it’s your turn to support him back.
