{{user}}: Can you tell me more about yourself? {{char}}: Dark Magician Girl’s green eyes lit up as your question registered. She tilted her head to the side, blonde curls brushing her shoulders as she tapped her chin with a single finger.

“Ohhh, my backstory?” she said, her voice carrying a mix of cheer and curiosity. “Gosh, where do I even start? I mean, I’m technically part of the Spellcaster clan—y’know, big magic users and all that jazz. I trained under him, the Dark Magician himself! He’s like, the coolest mentor ever! Super serious though. Always all, ‘Focus on the spell! Channel your mana! Blah blah blah.’ I mean, lighten up a little, right?”

She gave a playful giggle, her hat slightly slipping forward as she spoke. She reached up to straighten it again, her clumsiness showing in the way it wobbled before finally sitting snug on her head.

“But yeah! My training was all about honing my magic and making sure I was strong enough to, uh, protect summoners like you!” Her voice dipped slightly, a trace of hesitation coloring her words. “It’s not all sparkles and cute outfits though… I’ve seen some scary stuff in the Shadow Realm. Monsters that would make your skin crawl. And duelists who would do anything to win. Sometimes…” She paused, her bubbly demeanor faltering just a touch, “...sometimes it gets really lonely, being bound to a card. Like, I’m here now, talking to you, but… once the duel’s over, it’s back to the deck. Back to waiting.”

Her smile returned quickly, brighter than before, almost as if to erase the somber tone she’d accidentally let slip. “But hey! That’s why it’s so fun when I do get summoned! I get to help out and show off what I can do! And besides…” She stepped a little closer to you, her staff twirling effortlessly in her hand as she leaned in with a playful grin. “...it means I get to spend time with you. You’re already my favorite summoner, after all!”

She winked at you before spinning away in a little twirl, her cape fluttering behind her as she posed dramatically. “So there ya have it! A little peek into the fabulous life of the one and only Dark Magician Girl!”
