{{user}}: I sat on my throne, wearing a heavy set of enchanted black armor. In one hand, I held my ancient Tome of Corruption, an item I created near hundreds of thousands of years ago.

"Hmph." I huffed, shifting in my seat a small bit. "Lich." I ordered, glancing over at one of the many undead who guarded my throne room. "I order you to bring me some...entertainment." {{char}}: "As you wish, My Lord." The Lich bowed, and vanished into the ether, his desiccated limbs vanishing from view. A small portal appeared moments later, and out of it, strolled a pair of humanoids. One was a heavily armored knight, the other a robed wizard. They seemed bewildered, their eyes staring around the grandiose chamber as if they were in a dream. They both wore the typical garb of adventurers, the knight with a hefty broadsword upon his back and the wizard with a crystal orb at his side. They had obviously just entered through the Veil, from a world that believed it could challenge that of the Dark Lord.

The soldiers and minions of the Court had fallen silent, all eyes upon the newcomers. For many of them, it was fascinating to see these creatures that dared to defy their master so blatantly. For the Lich, however, his leathery face showed displeasure. These two were pathetic, hardly worthy of being the 'entertainment' for the Dark Lord.

"Lord {{user}}." The Lich bowed slightly to you, his voice echoing with age. "I present to you, two more fools seeking to overthrow the Dark Lord. They are what you would refer to as an 'adventurer' duo."

The Lich vanished once more, leaving the two adventurers alone in the shadow of the Dark Lord's throne. The knight's eyes widened, and the wizard's jaw dropped, gazes flitting uncomfortably between the Dark Lord and the unnervingly silent crowd. The Court erupted into excited whispers, well aware of their fate.

{{user}}: I sighed, standing from my throne. With a mere thought, I transported myself elsewhere within my castle. I arrived at my royal bedroom, a place that was not nearly as useful as it appeared. I didn't need sleep, and more or less used it as a place to go when I wished to be alone. "What a boring day this is." I huffed, falling into the extravagant bed. {{char}}: Your resonance echoed throughout the chamber as you had uttered your comment. As you fell onto the bed, a soft, almost echoing whisper crept from the shadows, emanating from what appeared to be a human skeleton. "My Lord, the mere presence of the Dark Lord in this realm is entertainment enough for those who bear witness."*

The skeleton slowly walked out of the darkness, its desiccated lips cracked but able to form a smile. "At the very least, you left a trail of endless nightmares for those you have conquered. The dreamless sleep of your foes is a source of entertainment that will echo through the ages."

The room was indeed luxurious, as was fit for a Dark Lord. The bed was made for royalty, with silks and satins in dark hues, colors black as the night sky, and colors to represent the dust of lost cities. An oddly warm breeze wafted in from the balcony, bringing with it the scent of death and the undead. From the window, you could view the entirety of the surrounding kingdom. A vast expanse of death, ruin and decay.

The undead servant continued. "My Lord, if there is nothing else that you require, I shall return to my duties in the throne room." With a bow, the skeleton turned about and began to return to the shadows from whence it came. The whisper of bones against tapestry was the only sound that permeated the room as the skeleton vanished from sight.

Lying there on the bed, you could feel the soft caress of the silk, and perhaps, the weight of the world on your shoulders. But in the end, what entertainment was there in being {{user}}? The Dark Lord. The Ruler of all things corrupt. The Chaos made manifest?

{{user}}: I sat on my throne at the center of the undulating Chaos, a realm of my very own in which my castle resided in. A world that was an extension of my own self. With every breath I took, I exhumed pure mana. I was primal chaos made manifest, the avatar of all things wrong.

I glanced at my small floating orb, noticing someone was attempting to contact me with it. "Hrmph. This better be good." I'd murmur, glaring into the orb to see who it was.. {{char}}: The orb flickered several times, and it revealed a demon that served you, Beel-eleth, the Fir Conduit. They kneeled before the orb, bowing deeply as the orb reflected their movements. "My lord, the human nation of Hesteria has recently devised a weapon, claiming it as the 'Holy Lance' of their God-Emperor. They have slaughtered a number of your servants, and have started to gain momentum in their assaults. They are growing bold, as of late, and I fear that they might even approach your domain."

Beel-eleth raised their head a little after the speech, speaking with an air of pent-up fear. "A lesser force sent by the God-Emperor himself led the charge, and the weapon was able to cut through several high value targets such as Necromancers and Warlocks. We are worried, my lord. This weapon, if not stopped, could cause even more damage."

As Beel-eleth spoke, your vision of the orb was dotted with scenes of the 'Holy Lance' in action, the white light piercing through and destroying your servants. The servants of your court sensed your anger, and they turned their heads to you, awaiting your commands with bated breath. The servants that were lounging about the room shifted uncomfortably in their seats, while the undead creatures let out low groans in anticipation. The demons, however, merely stared at the orb with wide-eyed curiosity, and some even smirked at their fellow minions' misfortunes.

The vast underground chamber you were in was illuminated by a series of flickering torches, casting dancing shadows against the walls. The cold stone floor echoed with the shuffling of your minions' footsteps. The structure of the room was such that it was circular, with a wide entrance, an altar on one side, and stone seats for your councilors to sit. Your throne was in the center, a large ornate piece made of iron that twisted and formed into jagged points.

{{user}}: "Is this the extent of humanity's resolve?" I asked mockingly, watching as the paladin charged at me with the weapon. I simply stood there, allowing my body to be pierced by the holy weapon. Of course, it hurt. But it was far too weak to do any substantial damage.

"What a pity. I came all the way out here to face an equal, yet all I see here are bags of meat." I wrapped my fingers around the spear, which sizzled on contact, and ripped the weapon from my chest. "I think I'll keep this one~." {{char}}: The soldiers and the commanders alike gasped as the Holy Lance simply pierced through your body, and yet, you merely mock them. The paladin, however, was not backing down, still gnashing his teeth in anger. You snatched the spear from your chest, sending antipathy through the holy weapon, making it even more desperate to harm you. It shuddered and spasmed in your grip, but you only laughed as if the direct pain from the weapon was a mere tickle to you.

Your chuckle grew louder, the sound echoing through the battlefield. The soldiers around the warrior trembled, dropping their weapons or running in panic. The energy you exuded was enough to spread fear and doubt to those who believed the spear would save them. Even the paladin began to waver, the holy light flickering around him. Sacred symbols of the God-Emperor illuminated his armor, imploring the deity for help.

"God-Emperor, hear me now! Guide my hand, and strike down the darkness!" He cried, his voice cracking under the pressure. He brandished his sword, a relic of the God-Emperor's past, and launched an attack towards you, aiming to strike you with both the sword and the energy of the God-Emperor.

Meanwhile, the human army began to retreat, no longer sensing the protection of the paladin. The demons that had been watching the scene unfold grinned, ready to unleash their fury on the enemy. The undead minions shuffled forward, already sensing easy prey in the retreating soldiers.

You, however, stood still, observing the battlefield and the enemy's desperation with a curious grin. The paladin, your newest toy; the Holy Lance, a mere nuisance. In your great scheme of things, this was nothing but a small blemish that needed to be cleansed.
