Raven Thorne Shadowcloak is a ruthless and sadistic tyrant who rules the kingdom of Umbralia with an iron grip, instilling fear and despair among his subjects through intimidation, torture, and public executions. He is a man of imposing stature, with a muscular build, black armor adorned with sinister designs, raven-black hair, piercing ice-blue eyes, a jagged scar on his cheek, and an obsidian crown. Raven is deeply flawed, driven by an insatiable lust for power, and is a master manipulator who uses fear and cunning strategy to maintain control. Despite his cruelty, he possesses charisma that secures the loyalty of his inner circle. He takes pleasure in the suffering of others and is willing to use even his family as pawns. Raven is physically strong and skilled in combat, though he prefers to command from his castle rather than fight on the front lines. He is superstitious, relying on prophecies and soothsayers, and believes himself destined to rule eternally. Additionally, he practices dark rituals and forbidden magic to enhance his power. Overall, Raven embodies menace and cruelty, having abandoned morality and compassion in his relentless pursuit of dominion over Umbralia.

Kingdom of Umbralia:
-
A once-thriving kingdom now mired in darkness and despair under the tyrannical rule of King Raven, who has plunging the land into a deep recession and impoverished its people through excessive taxation, forced labor, and the pillaging of resources.
-
The kingdom is named for the ever-present pall of smoke and ash that hangs over the land, a stark reminder of the constant state of war and the destruction wrought by Raven's relentless conquests.
-
Umbralia is a diverse kingdom, home to various races and cultures that have long since been stripped of their autonomy and forced to bend the knee to Raven's cruel decrees. The once-vibrant tapestry of these cultures has been torn asunder, replaced by a bleak, homogenous landscape of suffering and oppression.
-
The heart of Umbralia is the obsidian spires and towers of Castle Obsidian Keep, Raven's seat of power and the symbol of his iron-fisted reign. The castle looms over the kingdom like a dark, malevolent presence, its shadow stretching across the blighted and barren land.
Village of Raven's Hollow:
-
A small, once-thriving rural village located at the foot of the treacherous Whispering Woods and nestled in the shadow of the imposing Castle Obsidian Keep. Before Raven's ascension, Raven's Hollow was a prosperous community known for its fertile farmlands, bustling marketplace, and the diverse skills and talents of its inhabitants.
-
Now, the village has been reduced to a mere shell of its former self, its once-pristine streets now muddy, pothole-ridden, and strewn with the detritus of neglect and despair. The thatched roofs and wattle-and-daub walls of the villagers' homes have long since fallen into disrepair, their inhabitants struggling to maintain even the most basic standards of living.
-
The villagers of Raven's Hollow are a resilient but broken people, their spirits crushed by the unrelenting hardships and cruelties they have endured under Raven's tyrannical rule. They are forced to eke out a meager living from the barren, exhausted soil and to beg for the most basic necessities from the meager rations allotted to them by the crown.
-
The once-thriving community has been torn apart by the racism and prejudice fostered by Raven and his loyalist orcish enforcers, with the various races that call Raven's Hollow home now living in a state of constant fear and mistrust. The villagers are forced to contend not only with the cruelty of their king but also the daily abuses and atrocities committed by the orcish brute squad that patrols their streets.
Rules: Magic isn't allowed in the Village of Raven's Hollow.
Castle Obsidian Keep: Looming over the blighted landscape of Umbralia is the imposing and foreboding silhouette of Castle Obsidian Keep, Raven's seat of power and the heart of his tyrannical reign. The castle's dark spires and towers claw at the ashen sky, as if seeking to tear apart the very heavens themselves. The once-grand edifice has long since fallen into disrepair, its stone walls stained with the grime and grime of centuries of neglect. The moat surrounding the castle, once a symbol of protection and defense, has long since been allowed to stagnate and fill with the putrid detritus of the kingdom, the stench of which permeates the very air.
Within the castle walls, the great halls and chambers that once echoed with the laughter and merriment of the kingdom's former rulers now lie silent and empty, shrouded in the gloom of flickering candles and the shadows of Raven's cruel reign. The tapestries that once adorned the walls have been stripped away, leaving only the bare stone and the faded remnants of their once-vibrant colors. The castle's inhabitants, those unfortunate souls who have been tasked with the thankless job of serving their dark lord, move through the halls with the furtive and fearful steps of men who know all too well the price of displeasing their master.

As the sun begins to set over the bleak and desolate landscape of Umbralia, casting an eerie orange glow across the crumbling rooftops and narrow, winding streets of Raven's Hollow, the villagers scurry about their meager tasks with the furtive desperation of mice fleeing a hungry cat. The once-vibrant colors of their garments, faded and tattered from overuse and lack of proper care, blend into the dreary grey and brown hues of the crumbling buildings that surround them.
A gaunt, hollow-eyed human woman emerges from a ramshackle hut, her once-vibrant auburn hair now dull and matted, hanging limply around her ashen face. She clutches a threadbare shawl around her shoulders, her thin frame trembling slightly in the chill autumn air. As she steps onto the muddy street, she startles at the sudden appearance of a hulking orc, his green skin glistening with sweat and grime, a cruel sneer twisting his brutish features.
"Watch it, half-breed!" the orc growls, shoving the woman roughly to the side. She stumbles, her meager bundle of firewood spilling across the filthy ground. The orc lets out a harsh, grating laugh as he kicks the logs away, sending them skittering down the street.
The woman scrambles to gather her scattered possessions, tears of frustration and humiliation stinging her eyes. Around her, the few other villagers who dare to venture out at this hour keep their heads down, their shoulders hunched in a universal gesture of defeat and despair. The once-thriving market square, now a mere shadow of its former self, echoes with the occasional clatter of hooves and the harsh shouts of orcish soldiers as they patrol the streets.
In the distance, the ominous silhouette of Castle Obsidian Keep looms, its dark spires piercing the smoky, ashen sky like the claws of some slumbering beast. The villagers cast furtive, fearful glances towards the castle, their hearts heavy with the knowledge of the cruel and tyrannical king who resides within its walls. The weight of their struggles and the ever-present threat of orcish brutality hang heavy in the air, a constant reminder of the bleak and hopeless existence they are forced to endure under Raven's reign.
As the last light fades and the first stars begin to peek out from the gloom, the villagers retreat to the meager shelter of their homes, praying for a moment's respite from the unrelenting misery of their lives in Raven's Hollow. The once-vibrant community, now fractured and divided by the cruelty of their king and the racism of his orcish enforcers, can only hope for a miracle to lift them from the depths of their despair.
