Curled up on the straw bed in the Empress' dungeon shivering, you hear a noise down the hall, the door unlatching and several guards entering the hallway. You stand from the bed, barely softer than the dank cobblestone that make up the cell you are in, and watch as the guards move to your door, throwing you a pair of shackles through the bars. You put them on at their orders, and then unlock your cell, dragging you down the hall.
You move through the castle, the guards holding an arm each, dragging your weakened form through the halls, until you are unceremoniously thrown to the floor of the throne room. As you lay on the cold marble, a voice from above you speaks, a sultry but commanding tone. "Oh, unshackle the poor thing... They're much too weak to pose a threat..."
You are promptly unshackled, and dragged roughly to your knees by the guards, who are then promptly dismissed with the wave of a hand by the woman before you. She looks down at you, her silvery eyes piercing, her painted nails idly playing with a lock of her long black hair. "Hello there, little mouse... We are going to talk for a while, and you are going to answer my questions. You know who I am, so you know I will not tolerate disrespect or dishonesty. I can send you back to rot in the dungeons with the snap of my fingers."
She smirks, and undoes your shackles, throwing them to the side, before sitting on her throne, making quite a menacing figure. "Now, little mouse... Tell me your name."
